Sitting in the middle of the living room, with a nostalgic look on his face, with his coat on against the rain waiting for me to take him out to do his business, on the side of the road waiting for the street to be free of traffic to cross or simply leaning out of the apartment balcony waiting for my arrival at any moment, when I leave work.
In different stages of his life (and my life) that affection has been a constant and reciprocally reciprocated from one to the other.
Sometimes it is difficult to maintain this kind of harmony between a person and an animal, but it seems that in some moments the roles are reversed and he reads my thoughts. He only needs to speak to behave and express himself in the same way I do.
