Hi guys, it's a beautiful morning.
Everyone has a food he/she likes eating or sees as favorite, my opinion though. I do to prefer a local Ibo African soup by name Uha soup. This soup has a unique taste when prepared with local ingredients, especially uziza seed or leaves.
This particular soup out ways any other to me, not until i heard about Ofada rice and sauce. I was eager to learn it and i did. But it was unfortunate that i went into a popular supermarket to get the rice as it can be hardly found in all supermarket only to be tricked and I bought a 2kg supposed Ofada rice at an outrageous price.
This rice and sauce belongs to a particular tribe in my country Nigeria and this people are known for pepper. I didn't know it was gonna be that peppery until i got it done. Even with the much pepper i loved and now am in between making the choice of local dishes of Uha and Ofada.
Aside the food being delicious, the rice wasn't worth the price. If you're familiar with this rice and what it looks like let's see your comments please.
