Good day, everyone, and welcome to my blog. It's another day for the Aprilininleo prompt, and I am ready to share my thoughts with you on the topic for today. The media has been the best form to get quick information from around the world with just a single click on the remote control or a tap on your phone. It has also been used in a good way to pass information and create awareness on important issues affecting our world and one of them is global warming which people took for granted but now it's being taken seriously by many people across the world.
This has led to the creation of UNEP's Climate Adaptation Project and many more incredible projects which have sought to create a clean ecosystem for our planet and also the move to clean and renewable energy that is environmentally friendly which is still a gradual process but I am sure in the next 30 years 75 per cent of the world population will be on clean and renewable energy. The media has also been used to push out wrong information to the general public, and one good example was the killing of Mohammed Gaddafi.
Mohammed Gaddafi was accused of being a tyrant by the US government, and this made the whole world see Gaddafi that way as a dictator. The truth of the story was that Gaddafi had the interests of the whole African country and was planning to back African currency with gold to make it superior to the dollar, but he was killed anyway and the US government sent their troops to Libya and destroyed a lot of things and also took golds. Libya had never been the same since that raid.
One of the stories I find strange to accept is the ongoing war between Palestine and Israel. There has been unrest between these two nations for a long time now, and the recent clash has been the worst since I started following up on the dispute between Palestine and Israel in 2018. Some of the media so far have been trying to paint Israel as the bad guy since this war started, especially Al Jazeera, which has been biased throughout this conflict.
Live on national TV when other reporters from other news outlets were interviewing a released Israeli hostage they took their cameras away and didn't bother to join in asking questions about how the hostage was treated but they were quick to announce once an Israel missile hit Gaza. This conflict escalated when Hamas invaded Israel and took hostages, they even captured an Israeli female soldier and treated her so badly but tomorrow some of the free Palestine fighters on social media will come and say they never saw anything like that and Hamas always treat their hostages well without any cruelty.
The Palestinians are even backing up Hamas, and I am sure deep down they know it's wrong, but they still choose to support the Hamas movement. Conflict is never the way forward and I condemn how Israel and Palestine have handled this situation, even if they stop now there will still be an issue in the future between these two countries, so there has to be a permanent solution to end this dispute.
So, guys, that will be all for now. If you want to participate in the Aprilininleo prompt, follow this link to today's topic, make sure to use the hostage #Aprilininleo and drop your post. Thanks once again for stopping by and have a good day.
