We had seen the owner of this restaurant posting on various communication means for sale, so we weren't sure when would it close down, or whether they are going to sell to another to willing to take on the baton, so we figured to quickly eat here. It had been a while I came here as well with the boys, when husband decided to bring us here, I was so happy.
CHONG HWA CURRY LAKSA RESTAURANT
Notice the red colour used on their signboard. It is because their curry is that good. Superb. Creamy. Just the right taste for everyone. It was a recipe from older people, they opened a small stall at roadside and now a shop. In fact, now, the noodles were made by two older aunt.
How the place looks like
Not a super huge place, yet not too small. It is a non-airconditioned shop, just with fans, but it is well-ventilated with open concept (wide door).
Simple menu on the wall for everyone to see. As well as some menu sticked on the noodle stall.
Food
Of course we must order their curry noodles, right?
I ordered mine with fresh cockles added, noodles selection I chose yellow noodle with rice vermicelli. The whole bowl came with slices of chicken, fried tofu skin and tofupok, fish balls and fish cake slices. It was still a generous amount of everything.

Dry Noodle
The youngest son ordered dried noodles which was noodles properly mixed with their signature soy sauce. It was served with a slice of spam, vegetables and fish cakes slices. Very yummy too. It was a huge bowl and he could finish 80%. The remainder was in my tummy 😁.
It came with a soup too with fish balls and fried tofu skin.
Nasi lemak
The eldest son ordered nasi lemak aka the fragrant rice cooked with coconut milk, served with curry chicken, chilli paste, fried anchovies and roasted peanuts. He rated 5/5. Wow!
