Hi everyone, good evening. It's a pleasure to be here again after a while. I want to express my gratitude to everyone who has supported me on my journey in the Hive community. It hasn't been easy for me, as lack of consistency has been a major challenge. However, I aim to do better and be more consistent going forward.
The Hiveghana community has been very helpful in my efforts to survive on the blockchain, providing interesting topics to explore.
Forgiveness is an essential aspect of life, and, unfortunately, we often find ourselves in situations where we have to forgive or be forgiven. I recently had a profound meditation to understand what forgiveness is truly about.
From my understanding, forgiveness is the act of letting go of someone else's behavior towards us. It means being willing to live in harmony with the person again, regardless of their actions towards us. Upon reflection, I realized that forgiveness is one of the most challenging things to do.
The good book admonishes us to forgive others, no matter what, and even provides guidance on the number of times we should forgive in a day.
I am one particular person who easily forgives so quickly no matter the extent of the sin or behavior. I don't if the teachings in Sunday school have glued in my heart. But one thing I don't normally forget is the names of those who hurt me or offended me.
People sometimes use our humbleness as our weakness and often repeat it on countless occasions.
I know some people find it difficult to forgive, but let's count how many we lose because of fear of being hurt. In as much as we mingle with people, we may offend and people will also offend us. No matter the circumstances, forgiveness should be a must but we must not give permission to be hurt again.
I've learned how to deal with friends who have hurt me before and I'm really careful around them.
