Hola, frens!
Tuesday has been drizzly and cold😰 so guess what we did?
Eat. Sleep. Hive. Trade. Find Wallets. Play Music.
The last one is expected as it's Three Tune Tuesday after all. I enjoyed various songs by different singers, known and not. And one of the day's accidental discoveries is a charming, Brazilian artist called Luciana Zogbi who started her music career by creating covers of popular songs and uploading them on YT, including Fix You, by Coldplay, Perfect by Ed Sheeran, Hello by Adele, Zombie by the Cranberries, Sweet Child O'Mine and Disney's Let It Go, to mention a few.
So without delay, let's check the one that wowed me I had to check her other performances.
Luciana Zogbi - All of Me
She was so young and innocent when she sang this cover of John Legend's well-known song. It was uploaded 10 years ago so she was about 16 then. She sings almost effortlessly and hits the notes perfectly. Her voice is stunning, expressive, and soothing. She's beautiful, has a warm, irresistible smile and her eyes sparkle!
Seven years ago, she did her version of one of Coldplay's songs and worked with Gianfranco Casanova who played the accompaniment and did the post-production, filming, video, and editing. Let's hear them below.
Luciana Zogbi - Yellow
Another awesome cover!
She has full control over her beautiful voice, and I must say, she owned the song through this rendition. This wasn't their first collab as they did some in previous years so I can only assume they work well alongside each other.
Anyhow, Luciana also wrote her original songs. She released singles and below is one of them, my third recommendation for the day.
Luciana Zogbi - My Waves
It's good to see how she continues working on her passion and sharing her beautiful voice with those who appreciate it. By the way, I read that she was self-taught and never had formal music training. What a talent, noh?
She did mention in her interview last year that she's always looking to grow and evolve, and I quote:
In the future, I may seek different avenues of fulfillment by exploring new genres, collaborating with other artists, or engaging in projects that challenge me creatively. (src)
Her other singles include Lori, Ropes, Dive and others that were released in the past few years.
It's amazing how she has transformed from the innocent gal who uploaded her video on YT thinking only her grandma would watch it but ended up being loved by many, encouraging her to create more.
I like her and wish her more success in her music. That's all from me today and hope you enjoyed her music too.
Cheers!
