Magandang buhay!
Last time, I shared about the first part of our visit to Clark Grand Resort Hotel where we were amazed by their structures and amused by Garfield and some other sculptures. Today, we will explore the other areas like the poolside.
Going toward the west side of the hotel, we got to see this. A few workers were cleaning up this section but quickly disappeared from view as we were approaching.
We turned left and these life-sized statues welcomed us.
We observed they were re-tiling the pool.
Do you see big birds? Lol! These are native roosters if I'm not mistaken.
We traced our steps back and the sea lion looked like it was taunting us, lol!
Anyway, let's visit the upper side of the place. We see this again. We can only imagine how it looks at night when the lights on its sides are switched on.
As we walked through the graveled path, we sighted the entrance to the other (bigger) pool.
But we turned right first to check what that little structure was.
Aha! A birdhouse! Although not literally :) The tiny space was covered with paintings - all over its walls and even the ceiling.
We got a glimpse of the pool from there so let's go check it out!
As we approached, we noticed a walrus. It seemed to be watching things as they happened. There was a craftsman installing something on the little canopy in the middle.
Moving on, we met a group of our dolphin pals :) They look so serious though, lol!
We strolled further and got this view. Our eyes also caught some creatures having fun at the corner.
So we went closer and aha! It's Elsa and her friends😀
We moved on and were wowed by the artwork on concrete huts. They were all unique and also had a view of the pool.
We continued and got more pictures of the pool. Renovations were going on so it's empty.
There was a lot to see but it was already getting cold and we were wearing shorts, plus our phone batteries were almost drained so we didn't check the other spots.
Just one more shot of the surroundings from the poolside.
We hopped into the car around half past 4 pm and drove toward the exit. The walkway above the driveway looked nice.
We noticed Tarzan dangling from it, lol!
Here's the stairway that leads to the walkway (next time, we will walk through it).
With the memories of our lil adventure, we exited the place and went on our way home.
The time spent there was short but we enjoyed every bit of it. We hope to revisit the resort when it fully opens its facilities.
Thank you and until next time!
