Magandang buhay!
So we had some adventures yesterday, one of which was visiting an amusement park. We learned on arrival that its operations and services were halted to give its employees their well-deserved break these holidays.
Fortunately, we were allowed to enter and enjoy seeing some of their attractions (i.e. huge and interesting sculptures like the ones below).
Big gorilla statues with different faces! At first, I thought they were made of concrete but on getting up close, they were iron sheets.
And various other animal statues (extinct and wild - i.e. dinosaurs, Kentrosaurus, Siberian tiger, etc). I was quite amused with the lion which appeared laughing, lol! The tiger's tail was broken and was seen on the ground, perhaps someone sat on it.

Such and more are found in the spacious Saty Amusement Park in Bambang, Viscaya. We heard it was severely affected by typhoon Man-Yi in November so it just reopened on Christmas day.
We accessed its parking areas and various other spots but not the Go Kart field (it was gated/fenced), the rides, the indoor arcades, the view deck, the live animal viewing spots, the swimming pool, the live animal viewing, etc.

So yep, we shall go back someday, not only for the rides but we would like to try and experience its firing range too. Saty has other businesses including hotels, a shopping center, a cafe and restaurant, a gas station, auto supply, etc - all located in the same area.
Meanwhile, I nearly forgot about Hive Power Up Day (HPUD). Thankfully, I remembered it within the day and added the minimum amount bringing my HP to 26,350.
I'm still thinking about my target HP this year and will probably come up with a realistic number in the next few days.
