Mom checked in at her favorite local private hospital on Friday and had some IVs on her plus oxygen. While attending to her during the night, I noticed the shadows of things on the walls and even on her bed I couldn't resist taking pictures.
With all the days I've been attending to my loved ones in hospitals over the years, this was the first time for me to witness one of them getting a blood IV. Mother was so worried about Dad's surgery that she had restless nights and days causing her hemoglobin count to drop so low yet her BP was high prompting the doctors to require a blood transfusion.
The shadow below was her first bag for the day. Forgive me for the blurry shot though. I was in the other corner of the room and my phone doesn't take good photos, especially during the night, hehe!
Her first bag was replaced with an NPO around 8 in the evening but her other IV and the oxygen remained. They cast cool shadows which I noticed just before 10 pm so click... click... click.
Would you believe I was snacking on some biscuits at 3 in the morning? Yep, my tummy was growling I had to feed it with a pack of this, lol! The espresso scent somehow made me awake.
This was 5 am on Saturday, taken while I was on the foot of her bed.
Well, these are just a few of the shadow pics taken during Mom's recent confinement and my participation in the 344 edition of the Show Me A Shadow initiative by Melinda.
Meanwhile, it's a stormy Wednesday up here. Typhoon Trammi arrived last night bringing gustiness and rains. Thankfully, it isn't strong. I am feeling a lot better now after sleeping most of yesterday. My body and soul needed recharging and sleep was my best antidote. We'll be off to DD soon...
Until next time and have a fantastic midweek, frens!
