It's a cold Monday morning down here in DD. We expect a buzzy new week as we have a couple of trips on the horizon, not all for pleasure yet we intend to have fun. The main highway connecting us to other parts of the region has been cut off (washed out due to heavy rains) so it would be an adventure for us to take different routes.
But before that, let me take some moments to share a few snapshots taken during my niece's wedding reception a year ago. As you may know, this gal has no photography skills and just uses the point-and-click method so no high expectations please, lol!😅
But yeah, arriving at the venue just before the newlywed and their large entourage came from the church afforded me some time to photograph a few sections of the setting. Below is the first pic taken. Obviously, there was no thought of good angle or so at all.
I'm a shy person, especially around other people but I mustered a bit of courage and went inside the humongous tent to take a peek at what's going on and yep, for a quick photoshoot, lol! I did help a bit in placing the wrapped food on the tables.
The same decorator who made the arrangements for my wedding 14 years ago did a great job of creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. I immediately noticed the huge improvements in their decorating style.
Anyway, while the table sheets and chair covers were all white, the color of the tent on that bright sunny day somewhat reflected making them look pinkish (there's an orange tint in some of the photos).
This shot is the closest color (a screenshot from one of the videos I recorded on that day).
Here's a closer look at what's on the table 👀. These long tables were for the primary and secondary sponsors by the way.
I did a horrible editing on this particular photo with the cartooning filter. It was too late for me to realize that I could not revert it back to its original version, lol!
This has not been the best of my photographing attempts but thought I could record them on the blockchain anyway. I had a few more shots on the front with the cakes and all, but with their photo quality (angle and all), I thought they were best kept privately, haha!
Happy New Week and Until next time!
