Life has many colors and seasons.
Well, that's what I think anyway. Some days, it is lush, colorful and bright. There is mostly cheer, joy, laughter, happiness, bliss - everything well and good.
Don't we love those days?
At times, the outlook becomes dull and gray. This is when we feel less energetic and we lose interest in things, a bit lackluster. It's when some people say 'Oh, life is boring.' I don't remember the last time where I felt bored. (That sounded more like a lie than truth, lol!)
On other days, it turns a lot darker and it gets stormy. This is the time when there is trouble, anger, turmoil (within and without), sorrow, or grief even.
Most of us do not like such a season, yes? Although in certain times, such a shade in life can teach us great lessons - when we usually discover our inner strengths that we do not know existed. Or it's where we find beauty and goodness amidst the chaos.
On some occasions, days turn a bit more hopeful. Aah, those can be cool, yeah? Life gets better at such times!
There's light at the end of the tunnel they say... and surely, there is!
Oh la la! 'Nuff of that. I'm rambling again. Lol! What the hell are you thinking? Well, those are just some of the seasons in one's life that came into this gal's thoughts when I woke up so early (2:30 am) today.
The farm boy and I are at the hospital. We came here yesterday afternoon, playing nurses to my old man (father). The very reason why my equilibrium has been shattered a bit. Guess I was just so worried that my mental state got so confused.
The good thing is, there's a simple cure for that.
And that would be a walk in the woods. Unfortunately, there's no jungle around here so writing and letting out these messy thoughts plus re-living a previous hike through photos might help.😅
Except for the sunset, all these photographs were taken during an impromptu hike that the husband and I had not so long ag, when the downpour gave us a break. There were greens, a dash of colors, and yes, mushrooms too!
Now, I can shut up before I spout more nonsensical stuff, lol!
Kidding aside, there are a few people coming to visit Dad so I'll be off my laptop soon!
Happy Saturday, everyone!
And remember, whatever color (season) you might be in at this time, trust that it will change. When you're in the best of shades, make the most out of it, and savor the moments. When in the darkest of times, hang in tight, that too will come to pass.
