Cruel Sethropod
THEME: CRUEL SETHROPOD
Edition: CHAOS LEGION
Rarity: COMMON
Element: WATER
Attack: MELEE
Abilities: NONE
THE LORE
Sailors tell many tales of the dangers of the Cruel Sethropods. Armed with strong pincers and teeth as sharp as spears, they attack anything that gets within range. It is nearly impossible to remove a Cruel Sethropod once it has latched on, and many a sailor has the scars to show where they ventured too close.
Lineup
For this battle I noticed that my competitor had been using Mylor as a summoner on several of their previous battles. This caused me to want to put a good amount of shield and health in front of non melee damage dealers.
Kelya Frendul is picked as my summoner because of the +1 shield and +1 speed.
I started with the Kelp Initiate with 5 speed and 5 health. This has the possibility of causing misses. Kelya will boost it to a 6 speed.
Torrent Fiend is my 0 mana hit shield. Absorbing 2 hits in a battle and possible doing 1 damage.
Cruel Sethropod is used as third in the lineup because it has 3 shield and 4 health. It will take 2 extra damage each time it attacks so hoping some of the backline is taken out before this card is at the front of the line.
Coral Wraith is a 2 magic sneak monster. This allows for a one shot kill on some attack cards. Also it bypasses shield to directly attack health.
I end the lineup with Water Elemental. This monster is a 2 ranged 4 health with self heal. The self heal allows it to take one hit per turn without dying.

I anticipated the use of Mylor correctly and now it is time to see how the battle plays out.
Round 3
All of my monsters survived until the third round. I am making good progress reducing the health of their font and back line. My Water Elemental is absorbing the Goblin Thief sneak attack without dying.
Round 4
Cruel Sethropod has moved to the front line and will finish off the remainder of my opponent's monsters.
Conclusion
My lineup with Cruel Sethropod won this time without taking too much damage. My Coral Wraith worked the back line while Water Elemental chewed down Mustang Unicorns massive health.
