I recently took the opportunity to watch this story, I had read some reviews, it seemed interesting, therefore, I wanted to give it a chance; to be honest with you it is not a masterpiece, I would not classify it as the best, but it is certainly passable, and it achieves its purpose, to keep you there, waiting for the final outcome of that story.
Drama, suspense, that's how we can catalog it, a story even reflective, because it makes us question, What would you do if suddenly you are on jury duty, in a murder trial, but as you know the case, there is a possibility that you are involved?; yes, that's what this film is based on, a seemingly innocent man, another one who could be guilty of the crime, in which, it puts him in a moral dilemma.
What to do in a situation like this, how to react, let the trial go on, or tell the truth, who is the real culprit?, it is here where we see several positions, because on one side we have a man accused of the crime, with a criminal record, everything points to him as guilty, all the jury members come to the same conclusion, however, there is the other side, it could be someone else who is responsible for the murder, a totally different person, without a criminal record, accidentally.

Hace poco aproveché para mirar esta historia, había leído algunas reseñas, me pareció interesante, por ende, quise darle una oportunidad; para serles sincera no es una obra maestra, no la catalogaría como la mejor, pero sin duda es pasable, y logra su cometido, tenerte allí, esperando el resultado final de dicha historia.
Drama, suspenso, es así como la podemos catalogar, una historia incluso reflexiva, porque nos hace cuestionar, ¿qué harías si de repente te toca ser jurado, en un juicio por asesinato, pero a medida que conoces el caso, existe la posibilidad de que estes involucrado?; pues sí, de eso se basa esta película, un hombre aparentemente inocente, otro él cual podría ser el culpable del crimen, en el cual, lo coloca en un dilema moral.
Que hacer en una situación así, como reaccionar, dejar que siga el juicio, o decir la verdad, ¿quién es el verdadero culpable?, es aquí donde vemos varias posiciones, porque de un lado tenemos a un hombre acusado de dicho crimen, con antecedentes penales, todo lo señala como culpable, todos los miembros del jurado llegan a la misma conclusión, sin embargo, esta el otro lado, puedo ser otro el responsable de dicho asesinato, una persona totalmente diferente, sin antecedentes, accidentalmente.

The main character is played by Nicholas Hoult (Justin Kemp), a family man, hard worker, who finds himself in this internal conflict, as he must decide what to do, tell the truth, or keep quiet, as I said, it is a difficult situation; to think about justice, when you really want it to be fulfilled, but at the same time, you fear for yourself, because you are involved, and you could lose everything, in a matter of seconds, no doubt it is an internal struggle, that not everyone can or knows how to handle.
It is a film that leads you to reflection, between human morality, and the ability to make difficult decisions, to think of all the consequences that can bring us, if we make the wrong decision, to live with guilt or regret, to question yourself every day, if you did it right or not.
Doing justice is not easy, especially if you are involved, it takes you to analyze many things, since you are not the only one affected, you must think of others, your family, the victim's relatives, in short, so many things.

El personaje principal es interpretado por Nicholas Hoult (Justin Kemp), un hombre de familia, trabajador, el cual se ve en este conflicto interno, ya que debe decidir qué hacer, decir la verdad, o quedarse callado, como dije, es una situación difícil; pensar en la justicia, cuando quieres que realmente se cumpla, pero a la vez, temes por ti, porque estas involucrado, y podías perderlo todo, en cuestión de segundos, sin duda es una lucha interna, que no cualquiera puede o sabe manejar.
Es una película que te lleva a la reflexión, entre la moral humana, y la capacidad de tomar decisiones difíciles, pensar en todas las consecuencias que puede traernos, si tomamos la decisión equivocada, vivir con la culpa o el arrepentimiento, cuestionarte todos los días, si lo hiciste bien o no.
Hacer justicia no es fácil, más si estas involucrado, te lleva a analizar muchas cosas, ya que no solo eres tú él único afectado, debes pensar en los demás, en tu familia, en los familiares de la víctima, en fin, tantas cosas.

It should be noted that this film was directed with the great actor Clint Eastwood, I remember recently I saw a review shared here, where they mentioned the age of this man, and how he is still working, directing, it is worthy of admiration, although it seems that this was his last film; it would be a shame, but it is understood, at his age, surely he will want to retire and rest.
