¡Bienvenidos de nuevo a mi blog, chicos! El día de hoy les traigo mi clásico post de reseña musical, no pude hacerlo el día de ayer como tenía planificado motivado a las lluvias y la mala conexión, además del hecho de que estuve ausente de casa por el cumpleaños de mi padre, pero ya estoy de vuelta y con mucha energía.
Para la temática de hoy traigo un artista que me parece increíble que no lo había traído antes de forma específica, porque es uno de mis artistas favoritos, tanto que decidí que le haré dos reviews, porque en este primer post hablaré sobre sus colaboraciones que más me han impactado y la semana que viene le haré un review a sus temas como solista, así que, ¡a darle!
Welcome back to my blog, guys! Today I bring you my classic music review post, I couldn't do it yesterday as I had planned due to the rains and the bad connection, plus the fact that I was absent from home for my father's birthday, but I'm back and with lots of energy.
For today's theme I bring an artist that I find incredible that I had not brought him before specifically, because he is one of my favorite artists, so much so that I decided that I will do two reviews, because in this first post I will talk about his collaborations that have impacted me the most and next week I will review his solo tracks, so, let's do it!
1.- Mi Balcón ft Cultura Profética

Comienzo la reseña con este temazo que me hizo conocer a Vicente García por primera vez, de forma interesante, pensé que era un cantante de reggae por muchas razones, la primera es lo bien que le quedaba el género al colaborar con Willy de Cultura Profética y además el look que tenía con esos dreadlocks gigantes con los que uno podía verlo y asumir que cantaba reggae aunque sea estereotipado.
Su voz tiene un matiz muy cálido de cantante de reggae, sin embargo, lo que van a escuchar más adelante les gustará muchísimo porque Vicente García tiene una versatilidad increíble, como para disfrutar toda su música.

I start the review with this great song that made me meet Vicente Garcia for the first time, in an interesting way, I thought he was a reggae singer for many reasons, the first is how well he fit the genre by collaborating with Willy from Cultura Profética and also the look he had with those giant dreadlocks with which one could see him and assume that he sang reggae even though it is stereotypical.
His voice has a very warm reggae singer nuance, however, what you are going to hear later on you will like a lot because Vicente Garcia has an incredible versatility, as to enjoy all his music.
2.- Nuestra Canción ft Monsieur Periné
Siempre fui demasiado fanático del grupo colombiano Monsieur Periné, gracias a que conocí a Esteman, el cuál tambien es colombiano, así que bueno, fue muy fácil enamorarme de esta canción sabiendo que estaba Vicente García en ella, aunque no me imaginé que se escucharía tan bien en un swing como el de Monsieur Periné.
Algo que me encanta de esta canción es que hoy en día es muy famosa por el hecho de muchos memes y vídeos épicos donde lo colocan, hasta mi streamer de LoL que hace directos para Twitch la coloca de fondo y es lo máximo.
I was always too much a fan of the Colombian band Monsieur Periné, thanks to the fact that I met Esteman, who is also Colombian, so well, it was very easy to fall in love with this song knowing that Vicente García was in it, although I didn't imagine that it would sound so good in a swing like Monsieur Periné.
Something I love about this song is that nowadays it's very famous for the fact that there are many memes and epic videos where they play it, even my LoL streamer who does live shows for Twitch plays it in the background and it's the best.
3.- Lomas de Cayenas ft Juan Luis Guerra
Debo volver a decir lo que afirmé cuando vi esta canción en aquella ocasión en el inicio de Youtube, porque apenas leí el título y vi el nombre del gran maestro Juan Luis Guerra en colaboración con Vicente García me sentí increíblemente feliz, es como esas colaboraciones que no sabías que querías escuchar hasta que suceden y todo sale increíble.
Además, lo más bonito de todo esto, es que, básicamente, es la vieja escuela y la nueva escuela de la música dominicana, porque ambos son del mismo país, fue un gesto hermoso y una manera de conectar las generaciones, el sonido muy fresco porque ambos tienen muchos elementos en común, simplemente una canción que pondría en cualquier fiesta.
I must say again what I stated when I saw this song on that occasion at the beginning of Youtube, because as soon as I read the title and saw the name of the great master Juan Luis Guerra in collaboration with Vicente Garcia I felt incredibly happy, it's like those collaborations that you didn't know you wanted to hear until they happen and everything comes out amazing.
Also, the most beautiful thing about this, is that basically it's old school and new school Dominican music, because both are from the same country, it was a beautiful gesture and a way to connect the generations, the sound very fresh because both have many elements in common, simply a song that I would play at any party.
Bonus Track.- Dulcito e' Coco ft Kumary Sawyers
Siempre he dicho que para admirar al 100% a un artista tengo que escucharlo cantar en vivo para ver si tiene la misma calidad que en el estudio y en este aspecto siento que Vicente García abusa demasiado con su nivel de flow, tanto que siento que esta versión me gusta más que la versión original de esta canción de su propia autoría.
Hay algo en este estilo acústico que hipnotiza y la voz de la chica es impresionante, me gusta su registro grave y como le saca provecho, las armonías, todo hace un amalgama de emociones y sensaciones hermosas, no tiene absolútamente ningún tipo de desperdicio.
I have always said that to admire an artist 100% I have to hear him/her sing live to see if he/she has the same quality as in the studio and in this aspect I feel that Vicente García abuses too much with his level of flow, so much so that I feel that I like this version better than the original version of this song of his own authorship.
There is something in this acoustic style that hypnotizes and the girl's voice is impressive, I like her low register and how she takes advantage of it, the harmonies, everything makes an amalgam of emotions and beautiful sensations, it has absolutely no waste.
