____________________________________Hello Hivers___________________________________
It has been more than a week since we moved with my boyfriend @knowhow92 to a new city and we try to adapt to life here. I am busy working with my fashion projects, working out and take care of our garden. One of the things I still enjoy doing is filming my man's skate sessions when I have the time, so yesterday we woke up in the morning had some coffee and went straight to the local skatepark here at Preveza called "Speira Warehouse".
Speira is located at a building from an old military compound which is abandoned for many years and today is a free self managed place for people who share the same ideas and interests. Some local people decided to create something beautiful and did a lot of work to clean this place and make it look like it is today. I have only visited one more time three years ago for a party but yesterday I had the chance to look closer and observe all the great work that has be done by those guys. So I loved the whole decorations of this place and I instantly started clicking around.
Here is the main entrance with graffiti art, collages and a ramp.
At the opposite corner there is also some beautiful wall art with harmonic colors and I also love the damaged spots at the roof which give the underground feeling.
On the other side there is a huge wall collage art made from skate photos. I am a huge fan of collage art and I loved it from the first moment. I took a closer look and every photo is so perfect selected and combined with the others.
The windows are old, most of them broken which means that might be cold for winter months to skate but as I know you skaters something like this can not stop you. From an artistic view the whole scenery with those old windows looks so urban and I love it when green life find place to grow and mixing with the buildings.
Graffiti at this place is so clever and sends strong messages. And every graffiti seems to be a part of a whole story which is awesome.
From here you can see almost the whole collage wall. There is also a hip to skate here.
A broken television cause who needs those shits, right?
Next to the main entrance there is a living room with old couches and armchairs for people who just want to rest there. There is also a mini bar and you can take anything you want with a free contribution.
I loved every aspect of this place, people there have done an amazing work decorating and filling the warehouse. It is a great place to also just relax there for people like me who do not skate and that's really good. I spend my morning there and I had so much fun taking photos and of course filming my man. Thank you all for stopping by, I hope you enjoyed my post guys.
Have a great day!
