Hello everyone! How was service today? I hope you all enjoyed yourself in the presence of God. I'm super excited today, indeed it was a rewarding service for me and some of my brethren church today. No wonder David said in Psalm 122:1, I rejoiced with those who said to me, "Let us go to the house of the Lord". because they are many things to derive or benefit from in the presence of God.
It was a surprise service for us because we didn't know that our church has prepared something magnificent for all the graduands from university whose convocation were just few weeks ago. Meanwhile, it's not long I and four of our brethren in our church congregation graduated from one of the prestigious university in Nigeria, it was a great opportunity to go through the university education and amazingly came out with an awesome results after four years of intensive studies, hard works, drillings and dedications.
I woke up so excited with the consciousness that I'll go to the presence of the maker, got dressed early enough as usual but some striking happened when I got the church premises, I noticed the ambient of the church, well decorated with amazing decoration styles with few chairs which usually kept for special guest of honor, I thought maybe they have an occasion which I didn't know about. Since I was the first person to arrived, I looked around and I could perceive a different day. Not too long, other people started coming including one of us who graduated with a First Class Honour
So we went in but we weren't allowed to sit in our normal seat, behold, an usher came and told us that those decorated seats were meant for us! I was surprise because I haven't been honored that way before. Okay! we had no choice than to sat on it. I was like, Is it me that the whole church really honor like this? I couldn't face, we were the topic for the service, I kept on smiling like a she goat but some amazing happened just after the message as we were called out for gifts presentation from the church.
Inside me I didn't know if I'm to cry or to laugh but was just smiling as different packages was given to us both materials gifts and envelopes. It pays to serve God, I went back with handful of gifts from my brethren. Don't worry, pictures will convince you about today's reward and appreciation service. This is one of the moments in my life that I won't forget in a hurry, I really appreciate the entire church members for their show of love, I'm praying for God's boundless upon them.
