“Hey, come on. You need to start today.” inuke called me for the writing session.
“Not today dude, I got my dental done. Will not be able to talk.”
“Yo!! I ain't calling you for a talk show. Come on will write something.” inuke was energetic today.
“Leave me alone. Your Idea was dumb, It could have landed me in a very difficult situation. In office”
“Yaap Yap Yaap. So we are back to whining about the office. Ey!!.”
I hated inuke for what little regard he has for me and my project.
“Gimme me a minute, will be there.” I surrendered to inuke. After all a bet is a bet and inuke asked for my attention while he do something.
“Ok, Master. Teach me the art of writing. How to write? Where to start?” I mocked inuke.
“Good question my dear student, The first step is to accept me as the teacher and be ready to learn. I can see that you are already there. So I will skip the speech and jump to the second step.” inuke played along.
“Yes, Master.”
“So, you need to follow a few accounts before you start writing,” Inuke revealed the secret of writing.
“Master Please forgive me as I am about to punch you in the face and break you JAW.. Arey!! WHAT FOLLOWING ACCOUNT HAS TO DO WITH WRITING DAAA..” My sudden outburst startled inuke.
“Oy!! Oy!! Chill. Why are you getting angry? Have some faith.”
“Hey! Podaa!! Don't expect my faith, mercy, forgiveness and all. You told me to put the phone down and not reply to the client. And promised me that you would guide me in writing. And finally, after 3 days when you show up, you don't have an answer but some vague action.”
“Hey bro, let me explain the logic first. If you still feel disconnected from the process you can go back to the crazy job situation. Just hear me out will you.” inuke asked.
“Nope.!!”
“Ok, why not?”
“I am learning to say No, Let's start with you” I replied to inuke.
“Uff!! Dude, how is it that you manage to do the right thing at the wrong time, every time? I told you to learn and say No to the people you are not comfortable with, AT JOB. Not everywhere.”
“I am listening” and with that, I let a huge sigh out.
“Ok, You know @hivebuzz.”
“The Badge Guy and Notification Guy”
“Yup.!!”
“What about him and please get to the point quickly.?”
“Ok Ok, So there is a Badge that is awarded user who writes regularly. Okay, And the dude i kind enough to publish the list who has earned those badges. So what I did is I went to the Yearly Award and pulled out the list of users who have posted daily for more than 365 days since last Jan. Now we need to follow them understand what they are doing and copy it. Simple!!.” inuke explained his master plan.
“Oh!! What a brilliant Plan, let's copy other people. Come On Dude.”
“Trust me this is going to work.”
“Okay, here's my reasoning. Most of the accounts going to be Bots publishing reports.”
“Ah!! I also thought so. That the list going to be plagued with bots. But see the beauty out of 80+ people I saw only less than 8 Bots. Thats like not even 10%. You know what that means? It means that there are people who are consistent and have been posting daily for the Past 1 year. This is going to be a good opportunity to get to know and learn from them on how to write daily. Does that make sense?”
“I don't know man, You mean to say there are around 70+ real people who are posting daily. And I got to approach them to understand what keeps them going?”
“Yup! You up for it.”
“I am not sure bro. But we sure can try it.”
“That's all I need. Ok, here is the link. And to save you the trouble I already followed a bunch of them yesterday. So.. Have fun.”
“Okay will go through the list.”
“Ah! And one more thing. You gotta work hard on your NOs man. You are still too easy.”
TLDR; Learn consistency from the consistent people. Follow and learn from the people who post daily.
