Saludos querida comunidad, yo sigo limpiando mi caja de materiales, aprovechando cada pedazo de estambre o hilo que por pequeño había quedado en el olvido, intento que estos días en los que no he tenido Internet en casa sean lo más productivo posible dentro de mis alcances, sin embargo, tal como decía mi papá las desgracias no vienen solas jeje, pues me ha dado un cuadro de alergia severo esta semana lo que ha dificultado en gran parte mi trabajo con las agujas, pero no se preocupen soy una mujer decidida y cuando empiezo a hacer algo no descanso hasta haberlo logrado, así fue que llegue a completar la realización de esta linda Ranita amigurumi.
Greetings dear community, I continue cleaning my box of materials, taking advantage of each piece of yarn or thread that had been forgotten as a small thing, I try to make these days when I have not had Internet at home as productive as possible within my reach However, as my dad used to say, misfortunes do not come alone hehe, because this week I have had a severe allergy, which has made my work with the needles much more difficult, but don't worry, I am a determined woman and when I start to do something I don't rest until I have achieved it, so it was that I came to complete the realization of this cute Amigurumi Frog.
Tal como les mencioné en una ocasión los anfibios no son mi animal favorito, tengo fobia a este tipo de criaturas, pero la única forma en que puedo soportar ver un sapo o una rana es que esta sea de caricatura o de una forma linda alejada de la apariencia realista, así que esa fue la forma que le di al amigurumi, el de una rana humanizada con un lindo suéter de color rojo matizado con naranja y amarillo.
As I once mentioned, amphibians are not my favorite animal, I have a phobia of these types of creatures, but the only way I can bear to see a toad or a frog is for it to be cartoony or cute away from the realistic appearance, so that was the way I gave the amigurumi, that of a humanized frog with a cute red sweater tinged with orange and yellow.
Proceso / Process
Para hacer esta rana utilicé estambre escolar de diferentes tonos de verde, para la cabeza hice una hilera de verde claro y la siguiente hilera de otro tono de verde claro, tenia poco estambre de cada color así que esa fue la manera que encontré para que el material fuese suficiente. Trabajé con ganchillo #0 y aunque uno de los estambres era un poco más delgado que el resto no tuve inconveniente en usar el mismo tamaño de ganchillo para toda la figura. Comencé con 6 puntos bajos en un anillo, hice seis aumentos por cuatro hileras ubicando estos de forma que se creara un óvalo de 30 puntadas, luego hice cinco hileras sin aumentos, después 6 disminuciones por tres hileras para obtener 12 puntadas.
To make this frog I used school yarn of different shades of green, for the head I made a row of light green and the next row of another shade of light green, I had little yarn of each color so that was the way I found for the material was enough. I worked with #0 crochet hook and although one of the yarns was a bit thinner than the rest I didn't mind using the same size crochet hook for the whole figure. I started with 6 single crochets in a ring, made 6 increases by four rows positioning these to create an oval of 30 stitches, then made 5 rows with no increases, then 6 decreases by three rows to get 12 stitches.
Para la parte superior del cuerpo usé estambre matizado, intercalé las hileras de 3 aumentos con hileras normales hasta obtener 24 puntadas, hice dos hileras y luego dos hileras con verde. Para terminar hice 12 disminuciones, rellené con fibra y luego hice 6 disminuciones y escondí la hebra por dentro.
For the upper part of the body I used shaded yarn, interspersed the rows of 3 increases with normal rows until I had 24 stitches, made two rows and then two rows with green. To finish I made 12 decreases, stuffed with fiber and then made 6 decreases and hid the yarn inside.
A pesar de que la Ranita no tendría pantalones quería hacerle zapatos para completar la apariencia de caricatura humanizada, así que con estambre marrón hice 4 cadenas de base y haciendo aumentos en los extremos de ida y vuelta obtuve 12 puntadas, hice una hilera normal y una hilera tomando solo el lado de atrás. Luego hice 4 disminuciones para hacer la punta del zapato, obteniendo 8 puntadas, cambié a estambre verde oscuro que intercale con estambre verde claro por nueve hileras para formar la pierna. Deje una hilera larga para coser , hice las dos piernas de igual manera.
Despite the fact that the Little Frog would not have pants, I wanted to make shoes for her to complete the humanized cartoon look, so with brown yarn I made 4 base chains and increasing at the ends back and forth I obtained 12 stitches, I made a normal row and a row taking only the back side. Then I made 4 decreases to make the toe of the shoe, obtaining 8 stitches, I changed to dark green yarn that I interspersed with light green yarn for nine rows to form the leg. Leave a long row to sew, I made the two legs in the same way.
Los brazos los hice de manera muy sencilla, bastó con hacer 6 puntos bajos en un anillo con estambre verde y luego hacer dos hileras, cambié a estambre matizado para hacer ocho hileras más. Dejé una hebra larga para coser al cuerpo.
I did the arms in a very simple way, it was enough to make 6 single crochets in a ring with green yarn and then make two rows, I changed to shaded yarn to make eight more rows. I left a long tail to sew to the body.
Para los párpados de la rana levanté un punto deslizado, salte un espacio, hice 6 puntos altos juntos, salté un espacio y luego hice un punto deslizado, escondiendo la hebra por dentro e hice el otro párpado de igual manera. Luego cosí dos cuentas de madera. Bordé la boca con estambre rojo.
For the frog's eyelids I picked up one slip stitch, skip one space, made 6 double crochets together, skipped one space and then made one slip stitch, tucking the yarn inside and made the other eyelid in the same way. Then I sewed two wooden beads. I embroidered the mouth with red yarn.

Me estoy entusiasmando mucho con la idea de crear figuras sencillas con todo restos de hilo que tengo, la anterior fue la linda patita, así que esta Ranita se le suma como compañera, espero que mi salud mejore para poder seguir trabajando en mi pasión por el crochet esta semana, sino es así no me quedará otra opción que tener un pequeño descanso para recuperarme de la alergia , déjenme suerte 😉
