Greetings dear mothers and fathers of this community, today I bring very good news, Rafael finally had his nose operated on, the long-awaited adenotonsillectomy was successfully performed and I am very grateful for this.
Today we arrived very early at the clinic, just like last time I had to take Rafael on an empty stomach, while the nurses filled out the medical history form, took Rafael's blood pressure and weighed it, the anesthesiologist arrived who treated us while we waited for our turn. after surgery, then Rafael had the yelco placed on his arm, they tried to put it on his hand but they couldn't, so they had to make a second attempt on his arm and that's why Rafael cried a lot, however, the anesthesiologist was very affectionate with Rafael and made him talk for a while, Rafael showed her his games on the tablet, this made him calm down.
Then they put the surgical gown on him and we waited until they called him to go up to the operating room, he was cold but he was very entertained playing, until at 9 in the morning he entered the operating room.
I had to wait in a room for approximately two hours, but in the meantime my mother, my sister and my niece arrived to accompany me, when they called me I spent a long time with Rafael in the recovery room before they could take him to the room, Rafael was very sleepy from the drugs and anesthesia but overall he was fine, the surgery was uncomplicated and he was a very obedient and calm boy today.
When it was time to take him to the room Rafael was still sleepy but he was very happy because my mom @yole before going to the clinic bought a toy car so she waited for him with surprise, he was very happy with his toy but he just played for a few minutes and fell asleep again.
My mom went to buy the medicines that Rafael was prescribed post surgery but there was a medicine that she couldn't find in any pharmacy in the city, so I called my friend @yetsimar in the capital of my state, she went to the pharmacy she bought the medicine and sent it to me through the courier service of a trustworthy gentleman. At 4 in the afternoon they gave us Rafael's medical discharge almost at the same time that the man arrived with the medicine from the capital, my sister brought us home in her car.
Rafael has been calm but sleeping a lot, he wakes up for a few minutes drinking a little ice cream or juice and goes back to sleep for a while, he must have a liquid diet these days and then he must consume only soft foods for 21 days, in addition to medicines .
I am very grateful to all the friends who have supported me and to all the people on the platform who have been aware of my son's health, my family who is always with me and all those who have been up to date and who have written to me. I hope that the recovery will go smoothly and that soon my son will be as energetic as ever. Thank you 💜
