El Día de los Muertos es un día especial para la mayoría de las personas en Latinoamérica, en este día de conmemora a todos aquellos seres queridos que han fallecido, en toda familia hay alguien y es por eso que estas tradiciones unen a la familia, en mi casa fue mi papá quien murió en 2014 y aún lo recordamos cada día, estas fechas si bien no significan un cambio de rutina para nosotros , tenemos aún más presente el recuerdo de mi papá, por eso cuando vi la iniciativa de @yraimadiaz en la comunidad Womentribe decidí unirme.

Mi papá Irineo Antonio Navarro, fue un buen hombre, muy trabajador y comprometido con brindarle protección a la familia, ejerció el oficio de luthier y fue reconocido por esto, fue nombrado patrimonio cultural del Municipio Torres, estado Lara, Venezuela, sus instrumentos musicales trascendieron las fronteras del país incluso. Para mi significó un ejemplo a seguir, un padre honesto y con mucha rectitud en su accionar, trabajador incansable y muy responsable, de el he heredado la vena artística pero además también un poco de su carácter sensible y temperamental, para mi él era mi héroe.
My father, Irineo Antonio Navarro, was a good man, very hard-working and committed to providing protection to the family. He worked as a luthier and was recognized for this. He was named cultural heritage of the Torres Municipality, Lara state, Venezuela. His musical instruments transcended the country's borders even. For me he meant an example to follow, an honest father with a lot of righteousness in his actions, a tireless worker and very responsible, from him I have inherited the artistic vein but also a bit of his sensitive and temperamental character, for me he was my hero .

Uno de mis recuerdos favoritos con mi papá es su puntualidad, el siempre llegaba mucho antes a las citas y compromisos, eso hablaba muy bien de él, el solía buscarme muy temprano a la escuela y yo tenía plena confianza en que nunca esperaría a mi papá porque el estaría justo allí al momento en que yo saliera, a veces veía que otros niños debían esperar a sus padres y eso no me llegó a pasar, me sentía muy agradecida por eso.
One of my favorite memories with my dad is his punctuality, he always arrived much earlier for appointments and commitments, that spoke highly of him, he used to pick me up very early from school and I had complete confidence that he would never wait for my dad. because he would be right there the moment I left, sometimes I saw that other children had to wait for their parents and that didn't happen to me, I felt very grateful for that.

Realmente yo no creo que los muertos nos visiten, hasta ahora no tengo pruebas y realmente no me interesa saberlo, creo incluso que sería un poco egoísta pensar que una persona como mi papá por ejemplo, después de haber dado lo mejor de su vida por nosotros, también deba regresar de la muerte , es decir, si existe la posibilidad de que la muerte del cuerpo sea el descanso del alma, entonces yo quiero que mi papá descanse tan en paz que no necesite en ningún momento volver , el se merece estar tranquilo y si acaso eso de volver es posible espero que se sienta tranquilo de vernos. Pero también me encanta la tradición de la gente que si cree que lo Muertos regresan a visitarnos, me gustan todas las manifestaciones de afecto y sobre todo los altares de ofrendas que hacen en México.

But I also love the tradition of people who, if they believe that the Dead come back to visit us, I like all the manifestations of affection and especially the altars of offerings that they make in Mexico.

En estas fechas visitamos el cementerio, lamentablemente esta lloviendo mucho y no pudimos ir ayer. Esperamos a que el clima cambie un poco para visitar su tumba, generalmente mi mamá que es creyente prende una vela y reza un poco en compañía de mi hijo, yo me quedo allí solo pensando en mi papá y recordando lo buen hombre que era, me gusta la sensación de tranquilidad que siento en el cementerio .
On these dates we visited the cemetery, unfortunately it is raining a lot and we couldn't go yesterday. We wait for the weather to change a little to visit his grave, usually my mother who is a believer lights a candle and prays a little in the company of my son, I stay there alone thinking about my father and remembering what a good man he was, I I like the feeling of tranquility that I feel in the cemetery.

Si pudiera decirle algo a mi papá sería que no se preocupe, que el puede estar tranquilo que estamos bien, a pesar de cualquier adversidad hemos sabido salir adelante y que el hizo un gran trabajo al criarnos, que mi hermana y yo somos mujeres fuertes y que lo seguimos amando mucho
