I always thought there were only ONE executive producer per film, but it became popular in the 90's to have at least two and every decade since, the numbers have been increasing.. since I didn't have the stat for 2020, I just assume there are 100 per film by now.
Given the quality of films are on a severe decline, is it safe to say that an excessive number of executive producers ruins movies? To many cooks in the kitchen? Too many opinions in the room?
The last image in the meme isn't some form of great enlightenment... his head is exploding like rotten tomatoes dropped from the scaffolding. They're glowy blue to look pretty, but trust me, films with 100 executive producers are dead jim.
