A new round of the #POBphotocontest by @friendlymoose – flying.
Last fall, my friends and I climbed Mount Shishka, where there are several planes with ancient drawings - petroglyphs. Paragliders took off from Mount Funtikova, located a couple of kilometers to the west.
A paraglider is an amazing aircraft, being essentially the brother of a parachute; unlike a parachute, which descends from top to bottom, a paraglider allows the pilot, using air currents, to rise to a height of several thousand meters and cover distances of hundreds of kilometers. And all this happens without any engine, solely due to the energy of air flows.
