The palm oil plantation area that I photographed is a palm oil plantation area owned by ordinary people, let alone a palm oil company, this is a customary land area owned by the surrounding community and this area also includes a community village area.
My presence in the garden or in the community garden area is that I am in a palm oil plantation owned by my friend who has just been planted and here I learn many things from him starting from the distance between one palm oil seedling and the other and the right fertilizer for palm oil and so on for my own friend's category, many have palm oil plantations so there is a lot of knowledge that I can learn.
The oil palm planted by my friend is a type of marehat oil palm and the presence of this variety is expected to not only provide benefits to farmers through its high oil content. Also through resistance to ganoderma considering that currently most oil palm plantations in Indonesia are being or often attacked by various pests that live on oil palm fronds and which will definitely enter the oil palm shoots in this case my friend bought various needs for his oil palm, both caterpillar poison and various other pesticides.
The price of oil palm fruit currently ranges from IDR 2500 to IDR 3000 and that is if the fruit is perfectly ripe and the fruit is good but if the fruit is not perfectly ripe and the fruit is not too good then the price is even cheaper and if the fruit is loose fruit then the price is even higher than the fruit that is usually sold just like that loose fruit is usually fruit that has been dropped from the fruit pads in general.
