I am living in France but I was born in the Philippines. If you asked me the best thing about living in my country? It is TO LIVE SIMPLY and have EASY ACCESS TO THE BEACH.
Although I still have a simple life here in France, I've never been extravagant while living in the Philippines. However, I was fortunate enough to enjoy the tropical islands anywhere in the Philippines. No, I haven't completed the 82 provinces.
My husband and I met in Thailand and he enjoyed Palawan after our next meet-up. We also discussed our future of living somewhere in the Philippines. We love the beach, we love to dive.
Even though I was just living in Cebu, there were so many places to visit from beaches to waterfalls, to cold springs, to hot springs.
My husband knows how to fish and they have a small boat here in France. When we were in Palawan, he was daydreaming about having his boat and going fishing all day.

And of course, I miss swimming, snorkeling, freediving, and scuba diving. I miss the weather and the nice temperature of the clear seawater.
Although my husband and I love to do winter skiing, it is such an expensive hobby. Going to the beach in Cebu or Palawan is not that expensive. Going every day to swim is the best exercise.
Enjoying the coconut trees on Siargao Island
Coconut trees are very abundant in the Philippines. I miss drinking fresh buko juice or fresh young coconut juice. Or buko juice with milk. It is the best refreshment in the Philippines. You can easily ask someone to climb a coconut tree and get the coconut fruit.
My natural pool at Kasawan Falls in Cebu
I miss our active lifestyle. My husband and I were fit and sexy before having kids. Hahaha! So, we were thinking that if we can retire in the Philippines, we will do our best to get back on track living the tropical life.
