[ENG-SPA] 🍳 New Contest (Valentine's Day): An odd couple/Una pareja dispareja 🥓

Greetings, my precious and creative #HiveDIY people. I had a long time without posting in this community, I'm so excited to finally do so. Today I brought you my entry for the New Contest: Valentine's Day contest. This project was born thanks to a friend who days before asked me to make her some keychains of bacon and a fried egg. Do you know the beautiful meaning behind these two keychains in love? That it describes their relationship, and it shows that although they are very different, they are willing to improve and fight to be together always. They have been dating for a while and have had some problems, although not so serious, they have done their best to overcome all those obstacles because they love each other. They are past the stage of falling in love and dating. They are a very nice couple, but a little uneven, they have not complemented each other 100%, and there are still some differences that they have not overcome, for example, one likes reggaeton and the other likes classical music, ha, ha, ha, ha, so they still have conflicts. Since I know both of them I decided to accept their request, and I was very happy to do it. Without further ado, let's go with the tutorial.

Saludos, mi gente preciosa y creativa de #HiveDIY. Tenía mucho tiempo sin publicar en esta comunidad, estoy tan emocionada de por fin hacerlo. Hoy les he traído mi entrada para el concurso New Contest: Valentine's Day. Este proyecto nació gracias a que una amiga días antes me pidió que le hiciera unos llaveros de un tocino y un huevo frito. ¿Saben el hermoso significado detrás de estos dos llaveros enamorados? Que describe la relación de ellos, muestra que aunque son muy diferentes, están dispuestos a mejorar y a luchar para estar juntos siempre. Tienen tiempo de novios y han tenido algunos problemas, aunque no tan graves, han hecho todo lo posible para superar todos esos obstáculos porque se aman. Ellos ya pasaron la etapa de enamoramiento y noviazgo. Son una pareja muy bonita, pero un poco dispareja, no se han complementado al 100%, todavía hay unas diferencias que no han superado por ejemplo, a uno le gusta el reguetón y al otro le gusta música clásica, ja, ja, ja, entonces aún tienen conflictos. Como los conozco a ambos decidí aceptar su requerimiento, y muy encantada de la vida procedí a hacerlo. Sin más, vamos con el tutorial.

🍳 MATERIAL USED/MATERIAL USADO 🥓:

Crochet needle #1, wool needle, black thread, and sewing needle. I also used vinotint, white and yellow pábilo, for the red I used a crochet thread that I had bought years ago in Barquisimeto since I didn't have any wick. For the center of the bacon, the fat, I used thread to tie hallacas, because I thought its color was very similar to that of the bacon (cream color). I used wadding stuffing because every time I go to buy hypoallergenic silicone stuffing, they have already sold it and I have not been able to send a relative to another city to buy it. I also used a pair of plastic eyes, liquid silicone, keychain rings, and jewelry rings.

Aguja para crochet #1, aguja lanera, hilo negro y aguja de coser. También usé pábilo vinotinto, blanco y amarillo, para el rojo como no tenía pabilo usé un hilo crochet que había comprado años atrás en Barquisimeto. Para el centro del tocino, la grasa, utilicé hilo para amarrar hallacas, porque me pareció que su color era muy parecido al del tocino (color crema). Usé relleno de guata, porque cada vez que voy a comprar relleno siliconado hipoalergénico, ya lo han vendido y no he podido mandar a comprarlo con algún familiar a otra ciudad. También usé un par de ojos plásticos, silicona líquida, aros para llaveros y aros para joyería.

Note: The meaning of the stitches used in this tutorial is in previous publications. "Pa together" means that we must make a stitch (a double crochet stitch without closing and in that same stitch we will make another double crochet stitch without closing), there must be 3 loops where we will pass the yarn.
- Pad= Treble crochet.

- Nota: El significado de los puntos empleados en este tutorial están en publicaciones anteriores. "Pa juntos" significa que debemos hacer en un punto un punto alto sin cerrar y en ese mismo punto haremos otro punto alto son cerrar, deben quedar 3 bucles donde pasaremos el hilo.

Vinotinto yarn

We start by making 26 chains.

• Row 1: Start in second chain, 6 hdc, 2 dc together, 4 hdc, 2 hdc in same stitch, 4 hdc, 2 dc together, 6 hdc= 24 stitches.

Change to red yarn

• Row 2: 1 ch, turn, 5 sc, 1 dec, 3 sc, 2 hdc in one stitch, 4 sc, 1 dec, 6 sc= 22 stitches.

Change to cream yarn

• Row 3: 1 ch, turn, 6 hdc, 2 dc together, 3 hdc, 2 dc together, 3 hdc, 2 dc together, 5 hdc= 20 stitches.

Change to vinotint yarn

• Row 4: 1 ch, turn, 5 hdc, 2 dc together, 2 hdc, 3 hdc in same stitch, 3 hdc, 2 dc together, 6 hdc= 21 stitches.

Hilo vinotinto

Iniciamos haciendo 26 cadenas.

• Hilera 1: Comenzamos en la segunda cadena, 6 mpa, 2 pa juntos, 4 mpa, 2 mpa en un mismo punto, 4 mpa, 2 pa juntos, 6 mpa= 24 puntos.

Cambiamos al hilo rojo

• Hilera 2: 1 ch, girar, 5 pb, 1 dism, 3 pb, 2 mpa en un mismo punto, 4 pb, 1 dism, 6 pb= 22 puntos.

Cambiamos al hilo crema

• Hilera 3: 1 ch, girar, 6 mpa, 2 pa juntos, 3 mpa, 2 pa juntos, 3 mpa, 2 pa juntos, 5 mpa= 20 puntos.

Cambiamos al hilo vinotinto

• Hilera 4: 1 ch, girar, 5 mpa, 2 pa juntos, 2 mpa, 3 mpa en un mismo punto, 3 mpa, 2 pa juntos, 6 mpa= 21 puntos.

We close and cut the first part of the bacon, and for the second part, we close, but we leave a long thread to sew. After we have the two parts done, we are going to join them with the wool needle, before sewing everything we fill it. Finally we place the jewelry ring where the key ring will go later.

Cerramos y cortamos la primera parte del tocino, ya para la segunda parte, cerramos, pero dejamos hebra larga para coser. Luego de que tengamos las dos partes hechas, las vamos a unir con la aguja lanera, antes de coser todo lo rellenamos. Por último le colocamos el aro de joyería donde luego irá el aro para llavero.

• Row 2: 6 sc increases= 12 stitches.

• Row 5: (3 sc, 1 inc)x6= 30 stitches.
• Row 6: 30 sc.

Close and leave long yarn for sewing.

PARA LA YEMA
Hilo amarillo

• Hilera 1: 6 pb en un anillo mágico.

  Cerramos y cortamos hebra.

Sew with the wool needle the yolk in the yellow part that we made of white. Fill in before sewing the yolk completely. We place the jewelry ring.

Cosemos con la aguja lanera la yema en la parte amarilla que hicimos de la clara. Rellenamos antes de coser por completo la yema. Le colocamos el aro del joyería.

I attached the keychain rings, glued the eyes with the liquid silicone, and embroidered the mouths with black sewing yarn.

Le coloqué los aros para llaveros, le pegué los ojos con la silicona líquida, le bordé las bocas con el hilo de coser negro.
