I haven't played Splinterlands for nearly a month because of the recent holiday season. I've been pretty busy, so I only recently checked out the new Rebellion Cards. I bought just one Rebellion Pack because I wanted to see what it's like to open it. I also miss the excitement of opening Splinterlands Packs.
In my first few games, I explored the new cards and their abilities. I can say that the release of Rebellion Cards is a game-changer because of the new summoners and abilities introduced. Before, opponents were somewhat easy to predict, but now, it's different.
The Rebellion Edition is a broad topic, so let's focus on talking about summoners for now.
It's cool that there are summoners now that can use two elements in battle. Because of this, it feels like a new game in Splinterlands even for longtime players.
Now, you can combine elements like Fire + Earth, Water + Death, Earth + Life, Life + Water, and Death + Fire. If you didn't have a healer before when using Fire and Death Elements, now, with these new summoners, you can heal your favorite Fire and Death Element Cards.
It's not just the dual-element summoners that are great in the new Rebellion Pack. Summoners with Multi Buff are also very effective. You can switch between the two buff options depending on your strategy in the battle.
The good thing about being able to choose buffs is that you can assign them to the monsters you want to strengthen. Tarsa, for example, gives +1 Melee Attack to her monsters, but if you only have two melee units in your lineup, Tarsa's buff may go to waste.
But with these new summoners, you can choose which monster receives the buff. If you use "Underboss Fabino", even if you have three melee attacks but want to use the buff on your two sneak units, it's completely doable. The great thing here is that he gives a +2 buff, making a significant difference in damage.
Each of these summoners has a powerful buff that can give you an advantage, especially if you understand how to use them. You just need to learn each summoner and devise a strategy so that every time you go into battle, your winning chance is high.
Only 14 hours left until the End of Season. Good luck with opening the rewards Chest!
