Friends, sometimes movies give us motivation to move forward and achieve success in life. But actually, these movies are often based on someone's real life.
One example of this is "The Pursuit of Happyness," which is based on the true story of Chris Gardner. This film shows us how Chris faced difficulties and worked hard to create a better life for himself and his young son.
The story from this movie from which I gained moral lessons and motivation:
"The Pursuit of Happyness" This is a real-life story about a person named Chris Gardner. In this movie, the character is played by Will Smith, while his partner Linda's character is portrayed by Thandie Newton. They invested all of their money into a company that manufactured medical scanning machines. Chris has to sell these devices but finds it very hard to do so. As a result, they fall behind on rent and struggle to get by, even with Linda working extra shifts. This causes a lot of stress in their relationship.
One day, while hurrying between sales appointments, Chris sees a man getting out of a red Ferrari. He talks to the man and learns that he is a stockbroker. The man tells Chris that being a stockbroker doesn’t need a college degree, just good math skills and people skills. Chris thinks he can do that job too, since all the stockbrokers he sees look happy.
Chris decides to study to become a stockbroker. However, Linda leaves him, so he becomes a single parent. He gets an internship at a brokerage firm, but it doesn’t pay any money. Chris has to study, take care of his son, and survive with no income and no home. During this time, he faced many difficulties. The landlord repeatedly threatened to evict him for not paying the rent. Through hard work and determination, Chris tries to achieve his goal of becoming a stockbroker and giving his son a better life. This movie is full of emotional scenes. In the story, it was very painful to see his life partner leave him during tough times. However, it was inspiring to see him trying his best to improve his and his child's life. And seeing Chris succeed at the end brought a lot of joy.
Moral lesson of the movie:
"The Pursuit of Happyness" tells a story of perseverance, hope, and striving for a dream despite many challenges.
Stories like these remind us that with determination and effort, we can achieve our goals, no matter how many obstacles come our way. This story also teaches us that no matter how bad the circumstances get, even if everyone leaves you, as long as you have the courage to keep fighting through the difficulties, you will eventually succeed.
