There are times when boredom strikes, and I suddenly want to take a break from my work; I would go to the city for a stroll. I have to admit that I missed wandering around, exploring cityscapes and landscapes, which I used to do when I was abroad. Although I am in the countryside now and I can simply explore my province, going to different tourist destinations is such a pain. It takes some preparations beforehand, and transportation isn't that convenient in some places. But someday, I would really like to explore my town. In my entire existence, I haven't been to any tourist destinations here yet. Such a shame. It isn't too late anyway.
It was already afternoon. I invited my sister and little niece to go with me. I just wanted to take a break from my mundane tasks. It is more convenient to travel to the city from my location by small ferry boats because the travel time and waiting time are cut in half. Besides, the fare is less than it would be on a bus. Although it takes us another ride to the ferry pier, I don't bother because my brother is here to take us there using our own motorcycle. He would also come to fetch us when we returned to the pier if we wanted to.
My niece was quite eager to board the ferry boat, so I snapped some pictures while we were waiting.
She eventually walked around and hopped between the seats when we got in.
At the view behind is just one of the coastline villages in my town.
In addition to the ferry boat's convenience and cheaper fare, I also want to see the scenic seaside views. While on the journey, I love seeing the scenic views of the sky, ocean, and mountains complement each other. Seeing it is more relaxing than the bustling streets and heavy traffic when taking the bus. The view from the sea is even prettier when the weather is brighter.
When we got to the city, we went straight to Jollibee, my niece's favorite fast food. We ordered some food, and I got her favorite ice cream. You can tell from the photo below.
The Coke float was one of the Jollibee foods I missed since Hong Kong doesn't have it. So, I missed drinking Coke Float for about seven years. Although I dislike drinking sodas because of my hyperacidity, I love drinking Coke with whipped cream and chocolate. The taste is truly amazing. My sister joined us later after she got out of school.
After eating, it was marketing time. The kid was excited, as always. She would grab things she wanted to put into the basket. But of course, we would put them back, lol. Here's a short reel I uploaded during our marketing.

What is funny when this young child is with us when marketing is she becomes attached to her favorite food as soon as she sees it. She would even open it, like her favorite Chuckie. Thankfully, the staff didn't disallow her to do so. She's loud when we don't comply with what she wants, lol. Such a spoiled little girl.
Our day didn't go as I wished. After marketing, we were supposed to take the little girl to the mall's indoor playground so she could play. However, she seemed tired afterward because she had fallen asleep when her mother carried her. That went on until we arrived at the terminal and boarded the bus to return home. We didn't ride the ferry boat, though, because we were carrying things, and the kid was asleep. Besides, with my other sister, we all won't fit in our motorcycle. The kid woke up when we were halfway back to our place. It was almost dinner time.
That's how our #WednesdayWalk went. Such an impromptu walk led us to pretty experiences.
