Hey beautiful people of hive! In my previous blog (see:The start of my fitness journey), I mentioned about my attempt to build muscles by consistently going to the gym. This goal of mine, albeit delayed, is finally happening. My gym membership is now available and i can't wait to start my fitness journey, at last!
As soon as i received my access to the gym, i immediately lift some weights. My main focus during that day was my legs since i feel like it's the weakest part of my body, plus Im also planning to grow my glutes and butt. I saw this gym equipment and instantly fell in love with it. It's my stress reliever!
Aside from this leg exercise, I also explored on their weights and kettle bells. This is actually my first time being in the gym so half of the time i have no idea what im doing. But i've tried home workouts during pandemic. So i just applied whatever i remembered.
After my weights workout, I hit the treadmill and boy was i so anxious! I didn't know i have a phobia for treadmill not until i accidentally clicked the high speed button and now im suddenly running uncontrollably. Thankfully, i managed to stop the machine. Since then, i will only be walking in the treadmill in low speed.
Now that i have an access to the gym, i will try my best to be diligent in showing up for at least 4x a week. My ideal time to go to the gym is early morning, around 6AM, but knowing myself, the most attainable time possible is after work hours and on weekends. So i'll try to work around this schedule for now.
