It's so good to finally be here after undergoing a full week of lectures on how to get started. I waited until today to create my account, as I wanted to be fully ready before diving in, avoiding procrastination and ensuring my account wouldn't just sit unused before publishing my first article.
My name is Jeffery, and I’m excited about my username, jeff07. I'm from West Africa, specifically Nigeria—one of the most well-known countries in Africa and in the world at large. I come from the southern part of Nigeria, a truly beautiful area. I’ve traveled to different states within the country, and I consider my state, Delta State, one of the coolest places to live in Nigeria.
I graduated with a degree in Business Management from a polytechnic. I spent my final two years at a polytechnic in the northern part of the country, after completing the first two years in Delta State.
Currently, the job market has been tough, and I haven't landed an official job, but I'm making the best of things. I’m involved in various business ventures, which I believe is a good application of my studies. Since I studied Business Management, I'm open to any opportunities that bring in income, and I'm not afraid to take on multiple roles to make ends meet.
My Hobbies
I don’t have many 'technical' hobbies, like sports, but I enjoy relaxing activities such as listening to music (even though I can’t sing or dance), watching football (even though I can’t play or run), eating good food, and traveling. I can't express how much I love exploring and touring the world.
My Writing Niche
I don’t consider myself a skilled writer compared to some of the incredible talent I’ve encountered here so far. My strength lies in sharing my experiences and opinions. I have a basic understanding of cryptocurrency, though not enough to write purely educational content. I’m also interested in trying my hand at storytelling.
How I Learned About Hive
I discovered this platform from @beeeee, who invited me to join around four months ago. Despite her encouragement, I kept procrastinating, but now I’m finally here, eager to stay, grow, meet people, make friends, and hopefully earn. I also want to thank Beeeee for taking the time to guide me through everything I needed to know to get started.
