Time flies so fast that we are now in the second to the last month of the year. November marks a holiday where most people celebrate holloween, all saints and all souls day.
How I started my November?
November 1 not just mean All Saints Day but it also means Hive Power Up day for the Hivers. I never forgot it even I felt busy in the beginning of this month.
Even we have a lot of errands to do, I still do the power up but wasn't able to make a post about it. It's okay, atleast I was able to participate in HPUD and I was able to grow my account.
As of today, I have 324 followers and I am so grateful for this.
I am now in the rank 2618 and it is a good improvement.
I am happy to have 2727 HP and I am proud for this improvement or growth in my account.
Bayanihan is a work with unity and cooperation where people work together for free and for a specific purpose.
November 1 and 2 is holiday, because people celebrates all saints and all souls day and this is the time that they will visit their love ones at the cemetery.
We never celebrate holloween but instead we used this holiday for our Bayanihan. Our main purpose is to repair the children's shelter of our church. We need to get new set of bamboos for roofing.
Early of November 1, we traveled to the next Barangay to buy some bamboos planted by my late father in a creek. My mother gave us discounts for it knowing that it will be used for the church.
Men do the cutting and bringing of bamboos to the road. They work together to get enough bamboos for our children's shelter. I can see unity as everyone helped each other.
When we are done, we shared some merienda at one side of the creek while resting for a while before we traveled going back to our church. We enjoyed the cool breeze and the fresh air under the shades of the trees.
We were not able to find truck or a bigger vehicle to bring those bamboos to the next Barangay so we decided to use three tricycle, one tricycle and two top-downs as we call it.
Here we are along the farm to market road, we stopped by in one corner because we wonder where is the one top-down, they were not able to follow us, maybe there are some trouble so some of us go back to help them.
When we reach the church it almost noon and we prepared food for our lunch.
Men, then started the work. They removed the roof because the bamboos used for roofing is old enough and shows some decay. We are worried that one time it will fall and will bring accident to anyone. So, before it will happen we decided to replace it.
After removing the roof and old bamboos, they replaced it with the new bamboos.
They were not able to finish it in a day, so we returned today to finish it.
We are so happy that at last it is done.
Bayanihan or doing together, helping is other will make work to be done possible, easier and faster. Thanks to those helping hands who gave their time and effort to make our children at church safe by replacing bamboos for roofing.
That's my first and second day of November. Tomorrow will be another day. May we all be blessed on this new month.
