Ayo lived in the city, he has always dreamed to be a successful entrepreneur, he is a person who believes in hardwork. He is a guy who believes he can overcome obstacles.
Ayo started learning how to make sandals when he finished he's secondary school education, after he's final exams. He wanted to learn to keep himself busy during the long vacation and also earn some money for himself . As a person who wants to be a successful entrepreneur, he paid money for ihs training and he started learning how to make hand made sandals.
He also has a talent to make various designs of slippers and sandals which was later made.
After some months of learning, Ayo could now make sandals of his own. Ayo decided to open a shop of his own.
It was a challenging experience because before one can open a shop in the city, one has to have enough money and one has to pay 2 years ahead, this was challenging because he didn't have the money to pay for the shop.
Though he was able to save a little but it wasn't enough to rent a shop and to get the material he needed to start up, he decided to goto banks around to see if he could get a loan but they turned him down, they said he doesn't have collateral.
Ayo felt discouraged but he didn't give up, he started working various jobs so he could add to the money he already saved.
After months of hardwork, he was able to raise enough money to rent a shop and also to buy the necessary materials required to start his business. Ayo's business started slowly but as time went no, he's sandals and craftsmanship was everywhere. Everyone liked he's designs and his work.
People around him were jealous, they wanted to be like him but they couldn't so they started spreadinglies about him(that he uses charms and other fetish materials to get customers) but despite the challenges he has faced so far, he didn't bother about that and was focused on his business.
One day, a customer named Faith came to his shop and admired his craftsmanship. She offered him a job worth millions, with the help of some of his friends, he was able to finish the job even before the time she said she wanted it. After he did the job, it managed to get to some influential people that were amazed by his work. Ayo was invited and he was offered more jobs and got some partnerships.
