The Evolution of Vehicle Safety: 1980s to Today

in #hive-1611556 months ago

Describe what you see: I can see a group of young men fixing a vehicle probably from the 80's.

Describe what you feel: I feel vehicles are bound to break down no matter how advanced they are because they are machines.

A short story: Vehicles are bound to have accidents or malfunctions right from the 80's till today.
I must say vehicles have become much safer over the past 40 years. In the 80's, many vehicles lacked basic safety features like airbags and automatic gears and so on. Mechanical failures were very common. Today vehicles have advanced safety systems, better construction, and are more reliable. Though, new problems such as electronic systems can failing, leading to break down or accident. Distracted driving due to using mobile phones has alsobecome a major cause of accidents. Most vehicles that are developed are not perfect but I believe efforts continue to improve vehicle safety through technology like automatic braking and better driver education.

Yes todays vehicles are more safe. But only thing today's children are more rash than the earlier years. So anyhow, mishaps keep occuring.

I think it's a piece from 1923 just as it was stated on the plate number. And oh right, we've truly developed so much in terms of technology and i must say our only problem now is ourselves. We sometimes drive while ignoring the rules of driving which leads to unfortunate events.
