After my daughter’s ballet class, we headed to Ayala Center Cebu for a much-anticipated lunch at Dayun Asian Noms. This cozy spot has been on our radar for a while, and it didn’t disappoint.

We started with an order of fried cheesy pork spring rolls. Crispy on the outside and gooey on the inside, they were a perfect appetizer. Next, we savored the pad thai, a classic that delivered a balance of sweet, savory, and nutty flavors. The noodles were cooked just right, with a delightful mix of shrimp, tofu, and crunchy peanuts, all brought together by a tangy tamarind sauce.

My daughter’s favorite dish was the citrus chicken. The tangy, zesty sauce was a hit, and she couldn’t get enough of it. I, on the other hand, was enamored with the shrimp. Cooked to perfection, the shrimp were plump and juicy, and the spices used elevated the dish to another level.

To wash everything down, we ordered a strawberry yogurt drink for my daughter and a regular Coke for me. The strawberry yogurt was refreshing and not too sweet, making it a great choice for a hot day.

By the end of our meal, we were too full to even think about dessert. Every dish we ordered was delicious and satisfying. The customer service was excellent, with attentive staff who made sure we had everything we needed.

Overall, I would rate our experience at Dayun Asian Noms an 8/10. It was a delightful way to spend our afternoon, and we’ll definitely be back to try more dishes. If you’re in Ayala Center Cebu, I highly recommend giving this place a try!
