The Splinterlands season ended earlier this week so I want to review my rewards and check up on some things in the game. I have moved to Wild League after the changes to Glint rewards and I have been liking it there. I stayed in Modern League and was able to get more rewards compared to last season. It shows that I could move up a bit further so the reward difference wasn't as large. I am still going to be in modern but I don't really see myself moving over to Wild League at all given my lack of time. I did hear that advancing league will now give out chests too. So I have been waiting for that to be implemented before I start playing this season.
Season Rewards
I ended up with 14.4k Glint for last season and this is more than the previous season. Work has been keeping me busy so I haven't been playing as often lately, but I was able to make some time near the end of the season. I should be trying to get more reward cards so that my deck can be stronger.
I used up my glint earned on epic reward cards. I got a few new cards that I didn't have before but I will have to see how things go when I use them in fights later. I choose epic cards because I think they are more useful.
Gladius Packs
I have collected 6 packs since the last time I opened packs. The number of packs is lower than last season. This time it was a pretty bad opening. I didn't get any gold foil, epic, or legendary cards. Unfortunately, there were no cards that could be upgraded this time around for my gladiators. It's the first time this happened but as my card level goes up, it also takes more cards to level up.
SPS
My SPS rewards were higher this time due to my modern ranked battles. My Brawl rewards were around the same as last time but the biggest difference was the modern ranked rewards being higher. I did more fights so I expected this result.
My pool reward for the season is 96.535 SPS. I plan on staking all of this along with all of my staking rewards for a total of 217.236 SPS. The total SPS was around what I usually expected and this came out a little bit later than usual. The change of VOUCHERS has made me rethink things but I think it's still good that I can get some cards using those VOUCHERS instead.
Conclusion
It's been tough to put in enough time and I am unable to use up all the normal energy recovered. I just do what I can so the Modern league is right for me. I didn't earn as much as I would like but I am still upgrading my reward and gladiator cards slowly each season. It was at least better than last season but I am waiting on the new changes to take into effect before doing any matches this season
