Arts is being made through combination of colors and colors reflects life.
This week I went to Benguet Capitol and I was amazed to the arts displayed in the lobby. I went there to see it one by one and to my surprise, it cost thousands. So here are some of the arts catched by my mobile lens:
This portrait shows the traditionaldance of the Igorot tribe of the Cordillera. In our tribe it is called "Tayaw" it is mostly danced during rituals, wedding and special occassion of families. I was not well-oriented about our traditional dance but when I was a kid, I remember they dance Tayaw during the ritual which is called "Cañao".
In this photo we, see the traditional dress for women called "Divit" and for men the "bahag".
This portrait symbolizes the armour of our tribe, it is called "kalasag" meaning we recognize unity, peace and love in our tribe. That is why still we practice "gamal" or "binnadan" or helping one another with no expected payment in return.
This photo also is our famous traditional bag "pasiking" and water bottle in old times.
Wait! I went also to Porta Vaga and I saw some fassion designs from the "inabel"
