This week contest is a challenging one. I choose to answer the question no.2.
HOW DO PEOPLE SEE YOU? HOW DO YOU WISH PEOPLE SEE YOU?
Before I will answer, the main question I want to share how I see myself.
I see myself like a beautiful rose
Flowers blooms and many enjoy it and they neglect it when it fade away.
I know myself as a catalyst. I always want to contribute in making change that is why I always volunteer myself and make myself visible in the community.
I was once a seed who has been burried and grow through guidance and mentorship of great leaders I met in my journey.
I dont want to waste those wisdom instilled in my heart, mind and soul. However, not all people believe what I can do and contribute in the community.

HOW PEOPLE SEE ME?
Some, ***see me as competitor and fame gamer. ***They even tell, that I am making things complicated or ruined what was being done before. They want change but they don't want to change. They even accussed me of other's action just to ruin my name.
With this, just like a rose, this scenarios slowly fade my desire until I lost my confidence, my passion to serve and choose to resign for being an appointed Sangguniang Barangay Member in the Barangay and as Secretary of the School Governing Council. I cried a lot of tears because of this but I have to choose to live peacefully since I know myself that I can't take it anymore. And, let them prove also theirselves in public service.
Many, see me as an eagle, a leader with a desire to make change in the community. Some came to me, asking why and telling me they lost a good leader but I keep telling them, I can still help and be part of making change and maybe I have to give way to those people who despise me for them to make a move also.

HOW DO I WISH PEOPLE SEE ME?
How I wish other see me as a leader with humble heart and have a desire to serve not for fame. They see my works not my mistakes, accept me, support me despite of my weaknesses. Not all the time, leaders are strong, brave, flexible and ready all the time. They need also rest and be in their safe place to recharge and gain strength again.
As a leader, my wish can be fulfilled if
oldies leaders and followers embrace the truth that nowadays, a lot of young leaders has a wider resources and advance skills in making the planned programs, projects and activities possible in the community; that public service today is not just to speak infront of people, attend meeting and drink and/or just to be present in all occassion, donate something then give inspirational talk and afterward, drunk in public. Public service nowadays is full of reportorial works and documentation. You have to be equipped with effective communication skills, know and understand every committee programs of the Barangay and have the ability to discuss to the community and to do necessary documents needed.
And I am so proud of our Barangay since most of our Sangguniang Barangay Members and employees are young and energetic and they continue what we had started. We see them work with passion and working together for the welfare and development of our community.
Photo below are my collections while Im in public service. Some of them are young Sangguniang Bayan Members of Tuba, SK Chairman and Sk Kagawads and some are my colleagues in public service, SBM Member, Barangay Tanod and Lupong Tagapamayapa. Some of them also are from heads of higher government agencies.

My realization is that, we can be a leader even we are not in the position, we can be a catalyst in a way that people will not see your weaknessess but see your potential, your desire, your passion to serve and make difference in our community. So, to all aspiring leaders out there, don't be afraid of your giants, instead make this as an inspiration, a courage that we can be more! We can do more!
God bless everyone!
