For this fan art, I want to dress up Forest Healer in a cute workout outfit. 🥰
Here is my Art Process
Sketch and Lineart
The clothing would be a spandex material and so, it would be fitted clothing. I was thinking of a cute, tight, crop top, and a mini skirt. Her hair would be in a high ponytail with her side braid. I changed my mouth at the last minute. I used a solid brush and different weight lines for the line art.
Coloring
I colored the different parts in different layers. Originally, I wanted the skirt to be orange and then changed it to black, but I found it way too boring. So I ended up with dark brown to incorporate the color of nature in her still. Next is rendering the soft shadows. I like how the top turned out. I also put the word Holozing, just like those sports prints on clothes.
I applied more darker shades on the corners to give the shadows more dimension. Aside from the clothing, I added a little, fun, waist accessory. I worked on the eyes to make them look like alive. I chose a hot pink color for the background to complement the green hair and the dark colors of the clothing. Nest is to apply lights on the skin and clothing using a glow dodge.
Final Art
For the background, I thought of putting the word "Holozing" and circles. I just played the colors here of what was complimenting. I just thought of watermelons, haha. Lastly. I erased some colors bleeding out from the lineart and some minor corrections.
