And yes! We got a new stuff~ the holo dust! π It is a non-tradable asset and can be only collected in the daily claim. Last year, I only got 17 of the rewards for the whole month, haha. So this time, I will not let it happen again. π This morning I claimed my first holo dust amounting to 1.56.
Just a little update on my end. For now, this is my fan art for the day. π
Art Process
I got this reference from the resources channel on the Discord server.
A simple sketch of the pose. I thought of. adding volume of the hair. Like on the reference, I wanted to incorporate the one-eye wink here. I used a pencil-textured brush for the lineart.
I then used the bucket tool to fill the spaces with the base color. I used a solid brush pen for the detail on the hair, and airbrush for the purple gradient.
I had to find a brush that was similar of the reference's hair. So I thought of mizing some texture and sparkle to achieve the hair. I then used some blur brush to soften the edges. Next, I added a layer on top for the light and glow.
Final Art
I looked for a stock image from the asset store to match the sparkles. I then edited the color to orange to complement the purple hair. I added some sparkle nuances as extra detail.
