As we were walking in Parco, Dotonbori, I did not realize that we were heading to a place where every anime fan would faint in happiness, haha! (Like me) š
Can we just appreciate this poster? š„²
The store was inside of the Parco Building so we had to take the escalators going up. The whole building will close at 8 pm, and still, the place was packed.
We were greeted with a big screen showing the epic battles of our favorite anime characters and some intro/outro songs. I believe this is Vinland Saga on the screen. I wonder if there was an event or something limited-edition that people lined up for.
Luffy~ š People lined up to take a picture of Luffy, of course, I was one of them. š I patiently stood on the corner until people were out of the frame to take this picture (For the blog! š)
The shop is decorated with art from the manga and the anime. Here is a collage art from Demon Slayer. This shop felt like I was in the realm of their world. Road to become a Hashira, yes? š
Stickers, pouches, and phone cases. The stickers seemed very high-quality as I inspected in closer. The chibi versions were so cute! š I would pick the sleeping Zenitsu, haha.
Dreamin' On was playing in my head as I scanned for One Piece merch. š I think Egghead arc has one of the best wardrobes, hehe. Customers were allowed to touch the item, but not allowed to open until paid. So I can just check the item with a cover, but it was fine! š
Would you eat a real devil fruit? š Cutie devil fruit plushies~ They are soft and velvety to the touch. And woah, the extra effort of putting a treasure chest, nice!
Aside from stickers, decos, and plushies, they also had some shirts and bags. I pulled on a shirt from the rack and it felt soft and cottony. I know that this shirt is a quality one that you can use for every day.
Another wall of stickers, this time from Jujutsu Kaisen. Probably they have a big chunk of sales from stickers that's why they have it in every corner, haha. š
Haikyuu~ Tobe fly high!
Immediately I recognized the anime from its color scheme of bright orange and black. Cute chibi versions of the team and rivals. I just giggled to see some quirky expressions. It's perfect to stick it to my laptop or water bottle, or just keep it as a collection. š
Spy X Family merch. Anya Forger stickers were adorable. š„²š Chubby cheeks, sparkly eyes, and a face full of determination. š That iconic grin of hers really stands out, haha. I crouched down to see more of the merch- the tote bags, pins, and pouches.
As we approached the cashier to check out the items, I saw a real measurement wall of One Piece characters. The straw hat's heights were on the wall, feels like stepping into their world, haha. It was funny how Chopper was so tiny~ š Luffy was average, and I thought he was a little taller. Sanji and Zoro were pretty tall! Same to Robin. Nami is all right, her body alone is crazy. Frankie and Brook were impressively tall, not humanly possible.
I got the chance to compare my height to every character and took a picture for reference. š So awesome to see each's height in one place.
Time to say goodbye to Jump Shop and I felt like I left a piece of my heart. š„² It was always my dream to find a store that is part of my childhood (Should we call this healing my inner child? š) Cheesy as it sounds, it was an overflowing happiness. I was so happy to take home some souvenirs and be reminded of my first-ever visit to the store. It was not just about the merchandise but it was an anime experience. Hoping that I will visit again~ maybe a different branch this time. šš
A bonus picture Sanji fan art by me! š
