I finally got the game that I want to play! Yey! 😁 I am not really planning to buy a brand new one because it is pricey ($50)🤣 yas, I'm cheap as hell hahaha! So I opted to second-hand in good condition. I can get it at half the original price. A good friend of mine instead let me borrow her game. 🥺 I told her that her gameplay might get deleted, and she said that she really did not mind at all. I am very careful with the cartridge and the plastic shelf.
I did not play right away so I waited for a few until the weekend. I was so excited that my batteries should be fully charged haha! 😆
The game started with a cut scene. A faint voice is waking up Link. I assume here that Link was in a deep slumber inside a cave. The game started with no equipment at all, just thin clothings. I try to find weapons by smashing carts and barrels. The play controls are easy to follow, they will be shown up on the screen to guide.
Once again, the faint voice. She was telling me to check on Hyrule.
The view is chef's kiss! 🤌🏻
My first time fighting a monster. It was the jelly one. I also noticed that when I carried the axe, it was harder to run and it slows me down. So I switched my weapon to none in order to move faster. After defeating the monster, I climbed the tree to get some apples. 🍎
As I go down the mountain, I saw an old man in a tattered cloak. This NPC is kinda sus 🤣 With a white beard like that, it is impossible that he is not a big chunk of the story, haha! I took the baked apples, though. Sorry, old man. The convo with the old man turned into a quest.
Defeating monsters will gain me some weapons. I just have to be careful because I do not have a shield here. Luckily he is alone.
I took some damage from the monster but I gained a weapon and a shield, yey! Here I am just following the voice. The Sheikah slate helped me to pinpoint the quest. My quest here is to find the Great Plateau Tower. There then I found the old man. My other quest is to find the shrine and come back whenever done in exchange for the paraglider.
A shrine raised from the ground. I heard that there are over 100 shrines over the game. 😰🤯 That's a lot!
But first, lemme cook! 😆
Cooking three apples
In prep for monsters in the shrine (if ever). Cooking raw food fill my health/heart more than uncooked. Whenever I see fire, I open my bag and look for raw food to cook. I like the music whenever I am cooking, haha! How I wish this is how easy to cook in the real world. 😆
Yikes! An enemy. Now this is a tough one because it was in a metal form. My wood weapon is no match. Extra careful not to be touched by it. Easy to avoid the jabs because it was delaying. Took a little damage, but meh, I have roasted apples to fill in. 😁
Using the magnesis, I can now move metals. This is useful in moving the metal plates to cross.
There were treasure chests along the way too! So I checked every corner before moving to the next challenge. 😆
Finally arrived in Oman Au. He then gave me my reward, a spirit orb. Every shrine finished will reward you with a spirit orb in exchange for something.
After finishing the shrine, I was excited to have my paraglider. Man, it's tedious to go down a tall tower haha, gliding is the way~ But this old man lied to me!!! T__T I have to find the three remaining shrines. Oh, welp~
I DED the second time when I try to find the shrine near these laser-emitting creatures. The first time was falling down in the tower. 😆 I was like this 😨 this emoji haha.
My first impression
The game story and control are very easy to understand. The graphics are so cute! Now I can see why this is one of the best games ever made. Every angle is picturesque. There is no single bad angle at all. Even the smallest details like the shadow of Link running in shallow water and atop mountains. The map is so big, and yeah, it is an open world. Open world saves loading time imo. Such a masterpiece. 😍
Seriously so good it is addicting. 🤣 It is overtaking my blogging time, haha! Every time I finished a quest, I want more and more. It is never-ending. After finishing this blog, I will play again. Hahah, ohhh well. 🤣
That is it for this blog. I will see you next time!
