Yes, this distinction between true freedom and illusory freedom is so crucial. The illusory or fake freedom is the one that we believe we have been granted by some governing body or document (like the Declaration of Independence in the U.S.) when in truth the powers that be care nothing about our freedom or honoring these documents. True freedom is our inherent freedom and nobody can take that away from us, unless we let it be taken. But most of us aren't even aware that this second form of freedom exists or the degree to which our freedoms are being infringed upon. Love how you link freedom to creativity and labor—the two things we truly "own" as opposed to property and other material goods that exist outside of us.

You hit the nail on the face regarding Freedom. It has to be a constant reminder for us to pursue true freedom and not the illusion of it.
I think if we truly valued our labour, we will all forgo the rat race. Being as we are mostly tied down to the system, i say we engage ourselves with the minimum time the system wants off us (for example, don't kill ourselves working jobs just for money; downsize our living costs, etc) and the rest of the time engage on our skills and creativity, what we are good at.
I aim for that goal. I hope you do too!
Absolutely! This is an important distinction you make. Putting in the minimal time at your system-created job doesn't make you a slacker if you are utilizing your time and energy for those activities that are most valuable to you, as opposed to slaving away in a soul-sucking job and having nothing to show for it except maybe a pension.

The squirrels are most likely attracted to you because of your good vibes. Animals can sense that you know. They know when a person means them no harm and might be fun to hang out with. Or, they are hoping you have food😅 I once had a girlfriend of sorts that was jealous because the birds would speak to me but not her.
Freedom is, in my opinion, a state of mind or rather a way of perceiving the world and ourselves. I have felt true freedom when I gave up all my material possessions and leaned heavy on Krishna, but that was a long time ago when I still had a full head of hair in San Francisco. But my own personal desires, namely lust for women or the desire for a relationship with one, shackled me back down.
Freedom can be a bit lonely though is not? Humans I feel need each other more than we like to admit or understand.

You're right about freedom being ultimately a state of mind, but the danger comes when that state of mind becomes something of a theory/concept rather than an actual thing. That's why we allow other things to pull us back into the cesspool.
Freedom as a lonely thing? I don't know about that one man. There must be something beyond desire and stimulation.

Excellent video and a lot of people throw around words that they don't know the meaning of.
There is this big huge push to remove the rights and real freedoms to go places and do things they do it under the guise of commercializing the local natural Hot springs...
They also do it by making you get a license for things that you don't need a license to do.
You have to get a business license you have to get a driver's license you have to get a fishing license which in reality are all taxes upon all of the above.
In fact if you want to get solar panels on your house and start making money by providing electricity you now get taxed for that.
Which absolutely stands to reason since our tax dollars help provide all these solar panels from Chinese communist China where they have absolutely no issues with polluting the environment or repercussions from doing that
