1️⃣ If you were to die tomorrow, what would you wish you would have done while you were still alive?
I wish I could have done devotional service. I wish to remember the Supreme Lord. I wish I could help my fellow sisters and brothers know their identity and love God.
Since I was a kid, I never imagined that death would come sooner or later. I used to think that everyone would stay, but as I grew up, I became aware that death is inevitable. However, I wasn't bothered by it since I was still young. I never thought that death could come suddenly, whether in the form of old age, acquiring incurable diseases, or dying in accidents.
When I started practicing meditation and my guru taught me Bhakti Yoga, life became clearer to me. I used to be afraid of death, both my own and the death of loved ones. However, my meditation teacher taught me that I am not my body and therefore I should not fear death. They explained that death is a celebration for those who remember the Supreme Lord.
I am happy to be aware of the practice of loving God, but I also acknowledge that I haven't done enough to remember God myself. I want to share this practice with other people so that I can spread the teachings of my teacher and help them in their suffering. I understand that not everyone has faith in God or believes in Him. However, in times when people have no one to reach out to or rely on, I hope they still remember God and call upon His Holy Name. As the verse in Psalm 124:8 says, 'Our help is in the name of the Lord.' Therefore, I wish for everyone to remember God and His love for humankind.
