Performance enhancers puts players in an unfair playing field

Ever heard of augmented labor? This might not be strange for our women who have undergone the natal or peuperial phase of delivery or for the medics on the blockchain. Oftentimes, medics identify those that require augmenting and intervene as necessary. This could be similar to performance enhancers; however, to a large extent, it undermines a fair playing field for those who do not use them.

Performance is often vetted with respect to other candidates, even though it could be vetted against a known standard. Players in a game or match are rated high, medium, or low based on their performances. Leaving everyone to their natural fits distinguishes each person's performance with respect to their wits. Thus, we are able to differentiate performance with regards to wits or strengths.

Enhancers are substances consumed orally or parentally to augment the performance of an individual, just as they are cited above in the opening statement. Enhancers are generally considered illegal as they disenfranchise one another.

I have always been a staunch believer in my natural strengths and wits. While an undergraduate, i had colleagues who took enhancers like Nescafe to support their reading. They wanted to stay awake longer than their bodies needed so as to acquire as much knowledge as possible. I had a particular colleague whose eyes were mostly red from lack of sleep. Unfortunately, he didn't meet his academic target despite his efforts. Oftentimes, I heard tales of people who slept off and missed their examinations or even slept off in the car and lost valuable items. Beyond such side effects, I feel the use of enhancers puts others who use their natural wits and strengths at a disadvantage and may not be a true test of performance.

Little wonder, performance enhancers are prohibited as they do not give players a fair playing field while putting them at risk of devastating medical conditions like dependence or withdrawal symptoms.

What if there were no side effects from the use of performance enhancers?

Even when the performance enhancers are considered safe and without side effects, the fact that they put one individual ahead of another in a game of wits and strengths is a no-no for me. In an example of my opening statement, that may be coveted as the end goal is a safe delivery and not a competition among the women in labor. However, in a situation where there are winners and losers, gainers and losers, using boosters puts one player at an advantage over the other, which should be unacceptable.

DOES USING ENHANCERS MAKE THE PLAYERS LAZY?

The players are not lazy. Enhancers, boosters, or augments, as they connote, simply help to improve the player's efforts, even though at an inestimable rate. Enhancers are only relevant when players have put in significant effort. You wouldn't expect someone who is lying supine to be enhanced to run and begin to run while lying down. Boosters often bring improvements to what already exists.

WINNERS MAY NOT NECESSARILY BE WINNERS

When enhancers are used, they are often required to maintain the standard and, thus, become dependent on those boosters. Would such enhancers be readily available and permitted in every region? Here's a reason why I believe winners should benefit from true efforts as a form of fairness to all participants:.

Thank you for reading. I would love to have your comments and contributions.

I really don't buy the idea where you say it enhances and boost their morals to play well.
I believe they should be able to play and build their self to the extent of playing really good as they want too rather than using drugs

Thank you very much. Going through my post would throw more lights on my position of staying off those enhancers. Thanks once again

Sure did already
You're welcome

Once sport goes beyond using natural skills and abilities, it's no longer sport but movie to me and to be honest, I can't waste my time to watch such. I don't just buy into the idea at all

Truly, sports should be given a fair playing ground
