Hello monochromatic #Hive friends, today I invite you to make a new incursion into the streets of my town through my black and white photographs. Today my photos are of people coming and going through the streets or just sitting somewhere deep in their thoughts... This is a place where time passes slowly for almost all of us; life has slowed down for many due to the economic recession, the exodus of young people or the simple passing of time itself...

Hola amigos monocromáticos de #Hive, los invito hoy a hacer una nueva incursión en las calles de mi pueblo a través de mis fotografías en blanco y negro. Hoy mis fotos son de personas yendo y viniendo por las calles o simplemente sentadas en algún lugar sumidas en sus pensamientos... Este es un lugar en donde el tiempo pasa lento para casi todos nosotros; la vida se ha ralentizado para muchos debido a la recesión económica, el éxodo de los jóvenes o al simple pasara del tiempo en sí mismo...

Sometimes it's not just about time passing slowly, but it can also take little leaps backwards and give me an anachronistic, almost "invented" scene... Decadence is something difficult to deal with on a daily basis, but it still has its charm and this is reflected in the streets of the village and translated into photos when I wander through the streets...

Algunas veces no se trata solo del tiempo pasando lento, sino que también puede dar pequeños saltos hacia a atrás y regalarme una escena anacrónica, casi como "inventada"... La decadencia es algo difícil de enfrentar a diario, pero no por esto deja de tener su encanto y esto se refleja en las calles del pueblo y se traduce en fotos cuando voy deambulando por las calles...

There is something like a "photo whirlwind" happening on every block. Sometimes I look at them from afar and I can't capture them, I see them dissolve irremediably and I feel the opportunity lost. But just a little while later something new happens and a propitious moment emerges to record with my camera; that's what it's like to walk the streets taking pictures...

Hay algo así como un "remolino de fotos" sucediendo en cada cuadra, algunas veces las miro de lejos y no puedo captarlas, las veo disolverse irremediablemente y siento la oportunidad perdida. Pero apenas un poco de tiempo después, algo nuevo sucede y aflora un momento propicio para registrar con mi cámara; así es esto de caminar por las calles haciendo fotos...

_{ADDITIONAL TECHNICAL NOTE: Photographs captured with my Nikon D7000 DSLR camera in RAW format, then processed in Adobe Camera RAW for adjustments regarding light, sharpening, contrast and depth... They were then exported to JGP format on which minor modifications such as straightening and adding watermarks were carried out using PhotoScape 3.6.3.}

Luego fueron exportadas a formato JGP sobre el cual se llevaron a cabo modificaciones menores como enderezado y agregado de marcas de agua usando PhotoScape 3.6.3.}
