Summer is here. This summer is hotter than last year. In our city the heat index rose as high as 48 degrees celcius. Dangerously high heat index.
On the bright side, figuratively and literally, the sun signs brightly during summer.
With the bright sun blaring, it casts sharp shadows on everything.
My entry
A few days ago, I noticed the sharp shadow of a tree in the middle of the old quadrangle (at least that's what we call the area in the old days).
Shot taken from the second floor.
*Shot from the other building *
It was about one thirty in the afternoon. I thought I'd wait for three o'clock and the shadow would be longer.
one of the shots I took at three in the afternoon. Can you see my shadow?
I did not post this right away. I was hoping I could get some shots in the morning. The shadow would be on the opposite direction then.
However, in next few days, thick clouds covered the sun. Even so, it was still hot.
I guess I have to settle for the afternoon shadow.
With the sun glaring these days, it's a great time to hunt for shadows. However, staying under the high heat is not safe. I got to find some safe ways to hunt for shadows.
Stay safe.
Thank you for your time and have a meaningful Holy Week!
