Este fenómeno no ha pasado desapercibido por las aves, ellas están bastantes más inquietas de lo habitual, y se aprecia claramente en el comportamiento diario, una de ella ha sido el ¨ chogüí¨ :  que están todo el tiempo revoloteando entre las ramas y las flores del ceibo, algo poco común en ellos que son más de estar tranquilos picoteando sus flores
