My Online Lifestyle To Effective Communication

Hello Everyone

Welcome to my blog.

This is my first post in the community.

Growing up, technology, especially mobile phones, wasn't so versatile.

It was rarely used, and a few that used it were mostly to communicate with their families through phone calls.

Before chatting, it started and slowly spread to everybody chatting.

This mode of communication (chatting) broke the barrier of not only you having to talk to close relatives but someone you haven't seen in real life.

This was also abused by people not being real and truthful because of the privilege of not having to see you one on one.

It caused lots of people to have emotional breakdown and damage.

As a result of this, people hardly believe online friends or any form of online communication.

But this didn't stop advanced communication, which was extended to one uploading photos to show your real self.

Though, some were still very much careful and still have like 20% believe even up till today.

I have always believed in making cool friends online, and it always worked out for me.

The saying "what you believe is what you receive" works massively for me.

I found out my admission status then through someone I met on Facebook.

I was supposed to check it online on the jamb website, and I didn't have a strong network connection.

Though, the site was hanging because lots of people were trying to check at the same time too.

Most people who successfully checked theirs then used a laptop and not a phone.

I was kind of far from accessing a cyber cafe, so I chatted this guy who I hadn't met in real life before and asked him to help me check my status, because I saw him help others too.

Then, all you need to gain access to the person's admission status was your registration number, which I sent to him.

Within minutes, he quickly checked and sent a screenshot of my admission status of "congratulations............"

When I was in the university that the school newly started online courses registration.

Students couldn't easily add or remove a course on their portal.

An email address was sent to communicate for assistance.

All my friends believed it was going to take forever before one gets a feedback, some even said the email would be ignored.

But my thoughts were different.
I was constantly sending and receiving emails from the email address.

In one of the email I sent, I received cool advice, which was very useful to me.

Something I could have stood in line to wait for when to see the examination officer before I could table the issue.

I am this shy person(except when i am comfortable with you), so it was even hard for me to freely express myself to the examination officer the few times I tried.
She wasn't nice to us and had less time for her session.

More reasons why I loved my online communication.

I enjoy online communication a lot, and I have lots of online friends.

I wish for an opportunity to meet most of them in real life.

Maybe that's how it was destined to be🤷‍♀️
