In a land of myth and a time of magic!!!
I'm sure we all know this phrase from the movie series Merlin
well this is not a movie review or anything like it, rather I would be talking about magic,
Yes Magic!
Don't get too excited yet, as you wont be getting any magical powers after this article, chuckles! Have you ever thought what you could do or would have done if you had magical powers?
Would the world be safe with such abilities? Join me as we walk this line together.
As a kid we all dreamt and hoped to have special abilities didn't you?, we used two major words to describe our dream ability and power, super hero and magician.
we used to have some super heroes and magicians as role models, Merlin was my favorite and role model, I got to learn about merlin from the movie series "Merlin", I became a fan of magical movies and adventurous movies, I also wanted to be a magician.
To begin my magical journey, I memorized some magical words from magical movies like Harry potter, Hobbit, Lords of the rings and of course merlin, I didn't just memorize those words, I literally practiced them, I did some "Abracadabra" chants and cast some spells, unfortunately they didn't work, I repeated the process over and over again yet no result. which made we ask; Is magic real?
My love for magic and adventurous movies wasn't affected by the fact that my magical spells didn't work instead it grew more and more though I wasn't pleased with my inability to cast spells and make items float in the air so I decided to make research on magic. I didn't find much but first I got to learn that my role model was just a mythical figure likewise others, and some are just for entertainment purpose.
The turning point for me was when I understood that magic and super powers attracts chaos, where ever there is a Merlin there is always a troll or witch or mysterious animal nearby, Harry Potter will always have a Voldemort to contend with, likewise other superheroes. Magic is better known as myth and for entertainment, as having such powers and abilities will only cause chaos and trouble.
Adventurous and magical movies will always remain top of the list in my viewers choice.
The magic practiced today are just rehearsed and calculated tricks as there is no supernatural abilities involved, well I still love the word magic and feelings that surrounds it, magic today can be anything you believe in and how it turns out positively, some quotes like "believe in the magic of the day", "love is is magical", "works like magic", "say the magic word" and many others tells us that there is magic all around us and in us.
There is a magic in everyone, the ability to believe in ones self and trusting ones instinct is just like magic, the ability to love and be loved is just like magic.
Magic can also be words of encouragement to set someone in motion for action, the result effect is just like magic. There is a magic in you, which doesn't require a wand to activate, all you have to do is believe.
