Last weekend, Saturday marks my 1st year of arriving in New Zealand 🇳🇿.
I knew it was a week when I reached the one year mark in NZ but never planned to celebrate it.
What I planned, however, is to take my flatmates out for lunch. They are from the Philippines 🇵🇭 and have been so sweet sharing flat with them as they offer me food all the time 😋
So I thought I should take them out for lunch, and coincidentally, it turned out to be I was celebrating my 1st year with them.
We went out to a Chinese restaurant in Christchurch, and we all ate and were too full. We had to take home the leftovers for later 😅
